  Extended warranty just saved my bacon with a almost 4y/o plasma tv that died. They gave me a brand new current model with a minimum of fuss. Ext warranty on plasma tvs is a must!

well if the warranty is 4 years then i would consider it but at the cttt everything has 3 year warranty according to them and their policy regardless of what they try to sell you so i wont buy warranty if it is for 3 years and under as i can take them to cttt and waste their time and add to their staff costs if they want to give me dodgey products and not fix it when they break.
