Why aren't you selling them through Amazon ?

    • Or, where do you get them?

    • +3

      Amazon charge high fees.

      • +8

well amazon don’t charge $7.95 for postage for prime members ….

        • That may be (partially at the least) why Amazon charge high seller fees.

  • +3

my spidey senses are telling me that this ain't legit

    • These are 100% genuine.

      • +1

How did you source an Amazon branded product?

          • +2

            @ArcherVice: Hmm deflection.

            • @PainToad: If you look on Kogan, Ubuy they also sell AmazonBasics.

                @ArcherVice:

                If you look on Kogan

                I don't buy from Kogan… Don't trust them…

              • @ArcherVice: Not saying they’re fake. I would have no way of knowing that. But I am interested in how a third-party would get a hold of them? Surely Amazon would just clear them out themselves?

            • +1

@PainToad: Yep, sounds dodgy to me…

              I'll pass on this…

                @jv: Hi JV,

We are an Australian Company, with all products in our warehouse based in Moorabbin, Victoria.

Every product we sell is 100% Genuine, picked, packed and shipped in Australia within 24 hours of ordering.

We have customer service based in Australia, we have a phone number that you can actually call and speak to someone.

We wouldn't waste our time selling fake Amazon cables.

You can pay with PayPal so you even have buyer protection.

Not sure how that is dodgey.

                • +3

@ArcherVice: I'm actually genuinely curious how someone would get a hold of a large quantity of Amazon branded items. Amazon fire selling old stock? Seconds from the OEM?

                  • +6

@incipient: delivery truck must have high a big speed hump and it fell off the back of it. who knows.

                • @ArcherVice:

Not sure how that is dodgey.

You're dodging the question repeatedly. That's how.

This still hasn't been properly answered by the vendor.

          • +1

@tof: I wouldn't hold my breath. It's probably commercially sensitive info - I'd no more expect them to divulge their sources than would expect you to buy from them.

    • +1

For your reference, all these cables come in the original Amazon packaging.

      • Fresh out of the midnight shift at a Shenzen print shop?

    • +2

Looks like these are old stocks which had been occupied spaces in Amazon's Distribution Center for too long and they decided to get rid of them by either throw them away like gabbage or OP's company bought them real cheap in a hope to sell it alongside with marked up postage fees.

This sort of operations been happened overseas and likely started here in Australia.

    • Hi Truck-kun,

We are an online store only.

If you have any issues with products purchased from us, all you have to do is email us or give us a call and we're happy to help.

We've got a 4.4 Rating on Trust Pilot with many happy customers.

        Thanks for your prompt response.

Generally, I find Trust Pilot to be relatively unreliable considering that people can just create new accounts to compliment their businesses. But I appreciate that some businesses are relatively new and require some ways to boost their reputations.

        Although,
One of the reviewer on Trustpilot says: Dodgy business avoid it! Awful customer service unreliable!
Very unhappy customer. Poor communication and bad customer service. Very rude staff. They don’t answer your phone calls or emails for days. They lied and said item was shipped when it wasn’t. It was NOT A Smooth sale. Very rough. It was a horrible shopping experience plus rude staff didn’t care about your concern. Took 4 business days to post and think that’s normal. Avoid this business.

I will leave the judge to my fellow ozbargainer to decide if they should shop here. :)

        • You can't win them all…82% 5 stars though isn't bad.

  • You know what they say, if it's too good to be true, it probably isn't

    • I'll make your day - send me a PM and I'll shoot you a free one.

Mum said I shouldn't give out my address to strangers on the internet.

        • +5

But did Mum ever foresee this once in a lifetime opportunity of a free hdmi cable?

        • That's cool dude. Your loss is someone else's gain. Any takers?

  • +1

    $7.95 postage kills it a bit ….

  • How long is this sale for?
