    More expensive than Tag Heuer?

These watches will give you a run for your money….

  • It is a good price but that's provided you are after this particular brand and model.

Hmm, it still sounds pretty expensive. I am interested buying the Garmin 910XT, which has GPS, as well as swimming modes that count your strokes and laps. So for something with much more features for not much more expense (mid $400s I think)

I bought the garmin 910TX from wiggle with the 20% off code for $352Aus without the HRM strap as I already have one . Pretty sure it was about $385 with the strap and that includes free delivery .
On preorder but ships later this month .
The %20 off is still valid until tomorrow , Use code AUS20 to get 20% off list price . Remember to shop in pounds not Aussie dollars as their exchange rate is crap and use something like the 28degrees card .

      • I am interested to buy this .. what you think this is the best watch available in the market ?

how come its 385 ? it still showing 441 on the website ?

        • Like I said shop in pounds not australian dollars and use the aus20 code .
the terms and conditions states that the code will not work for items not in stock but it does work for preorders apparently . I actually ordered this last week .

          "Best watch available"

Depends on what you are after and what you want it to do. Check out this site for a good review on various training watches - http://www.dcrainmaker.com/p/product-reviews.html

My choice is the forerunner 210 as I dont need the swimming part, but if you want to track running, cycling and swimming, the 910 is the way to go.

      • Thanks for your suggestion I Ordered one.. I hope their warranty is wordwide.. I paid from paypal in pounds. hopefully their exchange rate is better than the otherone

  • theres no way i would buy any training watch without a gps.

using a gps you can upload to www.strava.com and you have so much useful data of your sessions… and the segments are loads of fun to compete with people and check how ur mates are going

    • I've been using Endmondo sportstracker thus far with my android phone and it works very well , but it isn't water proof unfortunately .

  • I use runkeeper on my iPhone and have a garmin FR60 for HR. also got the little wahoo plug for the iPhone off Santa so it also records my HR now as well. I still wear the FR60 as its easier to see than my iPhone on my arm plus I have a footpod which give a more accurate current speed than GPS.
