        yeh they have actually, i use google places for my business and they advertise this offer to me all the time. They even sent me a postcard all the way from usa about this offer too !

  Tried this same one couple of weeks ago to use with dropbox, a representative from google australia got in contact with me first and wanted more information before they handed the voucher over, they mainly wanted a legitimate website, which I didn't have as only wanted to use with dropbox

    I used a similar offer earlier and was told that this type of adwords offer is applied only once to an account.

  Yeah they call and ask alot of questions, i remember it being very difficult to get this, ended up forgoing it for the sake of other advertising means for my fathers business site

  This won't be available to most people.
  I've tried it quite a few times with no luck, you just don't hear anything.

  Also, this has always been available to sign up to (pending acceptance), hardly OzBargain worthy.

  If you do actually have a domain you can normally get these from Godaddy or some hosts.

    I've tried that a few times too, I get knocked back because I'm in Australia despite having a .com and it being hosted in the U.S.
    Basically, a U.S. code won't work on a AU Google account and vice versa IME.

    Hope that info can help someone.

  not worth the trouble. you will spend an hour on the phone listening to some very basic instructions that they won't let you skip before getting a voucher code…
