I hope for your sake it doesn’t arrive or become faulty, because the seller sure seems fun to deal with.

I had missing items from my previous deal items, but a failed junk mail check was on me and the refunded promptly….. Aliexpress on the same item was 3x the price but expected I guess… Always a gamble with online purchases admittedly…

      • Fingers crossed luck is on your side! But you’re right, that’s the gamble you take with these kinds of online retailers.

To be honest the patch cables received from the past order definitely make up for it - $3aud shippped/posted….. $71 mini midi keyboard just arrived today and works…to be honest I'm not sure on best config for apps (Guitar my main instrument) but cakewalk integration no issues other than my lack of knowledge!… Only posted here because of the big price difference vs other online selling and 3 orders in for pedals, etc. suggests legitimate… I was refunded for 2 pedals which couldn't be supplied after contacting them….No affiliate - just sharing a new deal I found…

          • @evanssm2jp: Hi evs …

This mob seems totally crap/they appear to profit from failing to supply what they say they will, after the cash has been paid. Can you please elaborate on what you mean by:

'I was refunded for 2 pedals which couldn't be supplied after contacting them…'

Specifically, if you had not contacted them would they have simply kept your money and been done with it? Unfortunately this is not an uncommon 'business model' these days. John orders from OS, John pays, mob sends nothing/keeps money … then sees what happens. Depending on the industry/base country, it can evidently be quite a lucrative strategy (unfortunately).

            • @GnarlyKnuckles: I'm seeing more and more of this "playing the averages" behaviour from these pop-up drop shipping stores. That being said I received my $10 compressor pedal and it seems to work. Maybe they were offering cheap hardware to get over a milestone so they could be verified.

Firstly, thanks OP, $24.99 is a great price for a 10 band EQ pedal.

As the poster of the original Donner Music deal i have found dealing with them 98% positive. The products I have received have been excellent rather than just "good for the money." All orders bar one arrived without issue. The one I had a problem with had 12 items (pedals for mates) that arrived as 12 seperate packages (1/12, 2/12, etc.) via Toll. When the original delivery came, I was missing 3 packages. Contacted Toll who confirmed I had only received 9 of 12. Contacted Donner via Messenger and they responded quickly. Over the next three days I gradually received the missing 3 packages and all was fine. Admittedly, this was a stupid way to send a single purchase order and I informed them of this fact.

Ultimately, this is relatively low stakes gambling. I don't believe they are scamming anyone, but their profit margins would be slim and some logistics and quality issues are inevitable. As always, your experience may vary.

    • I had 15 items delivered as 15 separate packages (1/15, 2/15…). 14 of them were delivered by one TOLL driver and he said that one was missing but in the next 10 minutes it was delivered by another driver.

  • This will do nicely as an MXR clone, until I can justify spending free the tone money on an EQ.

  • Thanks OP. Mine arrived today.
