+9 votesTrance N Dance on 23/02/2012 - 21:19 ¶Mate that is fantastic customer service, allowing us to cancel. Because you came up with the deal first and for saying we can cancel I'm keeping my order with you guys (it's only $2 anyway).
Keep the deals coming!

+3 voteskennansoft on 23/02/2012 - 20:55 ¶Is there any chance you could do a similar deal on some DDR2?
You suggest it…

epicaricacy on 23/02/2012 - 21:08 ¶Hi
Where do I look on your site for RAM for my HP dv-7 2112TX lappie? Uses this; RAM - DDR2-800 / PC2-6400 • CL6 • 1.8V • 16-chip
I have 4Gb (2 x 2), I want 8Gb…
Can u help?
+3 votesparker2004au on 23/02/2012 - 21:16 ¶Purchased 1x4GB stick, just for the sake of it lol.
Good to see PC shops on OzBargain.

Note 2.5% minimum credit card fee.
I have also found Megabuy VERY slow to ship.
I placed an order last Friday for 2 items, both with 5+ in stock, ship in 1 delivery.
Various emails every couple of days & finally 1 suppoisedly shipped today (nearly a week later!) & no indication of when the other will ship. Certainly expect better considering how high their freights charges are in general (although the delivery cost on this deal is obviously very good).
Lets see how long this one takes.
ScottLetts on 24/02/2012 - 06:46 ¶Agreed. You may also be selected to have your credit card verified, which can take a week or so (they deposit cash in to your account, you have to wait for it to appear in your statement, then verify with them… really too much effort for a few $ saving).
Proceed with caution: http://forums.whirlpool.net.au/archive/895633
Fortunately it's only ram, so for most people it does not matter if it takes a few weeks/months to arrive. NetPlus has a cleaner reputation so I'd recommend their deal over this from personal experience.
+4 votesFeel sorry for Netplus…Megabuy seem to be a bit dodgy.

Did you follow the original link that is in the post you reference?
http://goo.gl/3yP0bIf you take the time to read it all you will find that stumo's summary is not exactly accurate.
If something bothers me it is if false information getting perpetuated and cemented ruining someone's reputation. Enough of that happening in federal politics, let's not do it here too…

rekon u can hook us up with a good deal on this?

citybargainhunter on 24/02/2012 - 08:44 ¶Great price, would have bought it in a flash had I not already bought a new PC with 4GB of RAM.

had a better look and found this, http://www.megabuy.com.au/evga-pcie-g210-1gb-low-profile-hea...

Same situation as you want upgrade from 4GB (2x2) -> 8GB
epicaricacy on 25/02/2012 - 00:02 ¶Don't think Megabuy want to sell us any - they are answering queries below us… and ignoring these queries

How safe is the package or postage method? Can you put fragile on it?
I have had packages from Aust Post that have been crushed. It will be difficult to tell if it has been damaged prior to opening it…
The Kingston RAM usually only has a plastic cover… It's weak… When it is shipped to the shops, it is usually in a large cardboard box. Will we be getting the same treatment?

MegaBuy, regardless of the Neg comments or general off-topic bargain askers, you've done a great job of keeping up with the demand and even if it takes a few extra days for orders to be shipped out, I'm sure there are heaps of us impressed with your appearance here along in this thread. Hard to keep up with prices with there are so many other competitors, so kudos to you and your staff.
+1 votesome_one_some_where on 24/02/2012 - 22:21 ¶Guys what is the code to get 0.95 shipping on the standard RAM not laptop RAM?

surely people have had enough of Megabuy's antics..
