  • If one purchase this in AUD, does anybody know if credit card will recognise as international transaction (and pay extra international transaction fee).
Some CC does this if website is not .com.au

It depends where the purchase record is sent from… and it depends per institution.

I just seasoned my mamafong wok this last weekend actually.. I also screamed KANTONG WOKTSTARRRRRR.

Happy with it but slightly burnt my hands touching the metal bit on the handle… woops

Fried an egg after and did not stick.

      • Thank you

  • Not sure if I am just clueless, but I got a carbon steel wok from the same size from matchbox for $19 - maybe its the branding?. Works well after seasoning. https://matchbox.com.au/products/carbon-steel-stir-fry-pan-3…

    • Is it flat bottomed? Can't really see on the pic. If so I will probably buy this one too lol

      • With a flat base and a wooden handle, this pan can be placed on a high heat and is ideal for cooking due to its superior heat conductivity and retention.

      • Yeah it's flat based

    • Is it heavy for missy to stir fry?

      • +1

Very light. Highly recommend, just ensure you follow cleaning/ seasoning instructions

    • any good for induction, or just gas?

      • No idea mate, I'm guessing its optimal for gas

      • +1

yes, the flat bottom was designed for and will work on induction or any electric stoves.

    • It could be just the branding or it could be the High Grade Carbon Steel and hand hammered.

People have complaint about the handle getting loose due to poor rivet fastening.

  • I seriously doubt these cost more than 20 or 30 dollars in any decent Vietnamese store/supermarket. Shop where they shop. I was going to buy a set of Global knives until I did a bit of research and found out you can get Kiwi knives (which all Asians use on the street) for less than $10 a knife. Made in Thailand, perfect for home use. Easily sharpened.

  • Any deals for the round bottom wok?

  • Is deal over? Showing $40 now

  • Ozbargain code is no longer valid when I tried it.
It said Enter a valid discount code or gift card

Op, are you able to run another promotion?

    • coupon code activated again.

  • I received a notification that my wok was shipped 10 days ago but tracking still shows that it’s in Melbourne. Is it normally for shipping take that long?
