When it runs out of fuel/breaks down and you gotta push it:

      "Thighs like what, what, what"

      • +1

When it isn't going to push itself:

"baby move your butt, butt, butt"

      https://babyroad.com.au/product/uppababy-vista-v2/

Oh, how little you know :cryvomit:

This thing is cheaper than the above pram, which is also on sale.

      • We've had an Uppababy for 6 years and 3 kids, they are great quality imo.

      • +1

The pram has a 22.7kg weight limit. Nothing like the bad boy above with 300kg…

Ha! Just a drop in the ocean really.

Load of the power dumper should be measured in press conferences from PM or NSW Covid update

          • +1

@mathew42: You can tell the ABC is basically Sydney-based given how long it took them to get this piece out

            • +2

@mickeyjuiceman: Has anyone else listened to the announcements of new restrictions in Sydney and gone 'WTF, you can still do that in a lockdown?'

              • @mathew42: Lol, yeah, the NSW version is referred to as a "mockdown" with cause :-D

But yeah, harshest ever or something #GoldStandard

          • +1

@mathew42: Impressive and extensive work by the RMIT and ABC fact checkers. They should do it for every statement the PM utters.

    • +2

LOOOTTTTSS cos they're so full of floaty hot air

Would rather spend $1000 and make a DIY electric one.

    • +2

Ah yes but will it be a good design and last?

      • +1

I wouldn't have it any other way

  • Perfect for the empire of dirt

  • +1

How far would it travel for a full tank?

  • +6

I honestly just clicked in to read the comments and Ozbargain never disappoints!!

  • +2

    Perfect to transport the wife

    • Is it big enough?

      • +1

overall works well, just need to pump the tyres once a week, as we're(she) utilising the higher end of the weight limit

  • This looks like a fun toy. I wonder if it will fit through the door of my apartment.

  • +2

For that price and only a 1 year warranty. Raises alarm bells.

  • +5

We get ripped. 3 Years warranty in the UK. Some reviews also

    • +4

why the hell is our warranty so weak on this dumpster when in most cases our comsumer policy forces 2 years on the same products where other countries only have one?

Why do we get 1-year warranty and the UK gets 3? Do they ship only the defective units here!?

      • +5

True, not to mention there is no doubt in my mind ACCC/Consumer Affairs would get us looked after if it broke in year 2 or 3 anyway..

        • +1

good luck with that; the general consensus for those departments isn't good. My experience with consumer affairs is that it is a huge time waster that creates frustration.

  • Unfortunately, ALDI delivery service is currently unavailable in your area.

So , I guess need to walk behind it from nearest store in Victoria.

    maximum of 2 km/h

So, to walk from Melbourne to Adelaide @ 2KM per….. Can some one do the math for me.

    • 2km/h in reverse.

3 speeds forward up to 6.4 km/h, so that'll cut your travel time by two thirds!

    • Border checkpoint

  • These special buys are getting out of control.

    • No, it does have a remote control…

  • +1

just in time, kids getting bored with playgrounds closed.

Next closest item is $2500 on eBay, so this actually seems to be a good deal

    https://www.ebay.com.au/sch/i.html?_fosrp=1&_osacat=0&_ftrt=…

    • +1

Showed this to a brickwork and he basically said the same thing, half the price of what you’d normally pay. Actually contemplating it :S

    • +1

If you think the price is all you need to consider when it comes to equipment with any sort of engine and mechanical parts, I have bad news for you.

      • I can buy one of these - PLUS a complete, functioning set of spare parts, essentially - for the same price as the nearest competitor.

Price matters less than VALUE, and for this specific example the value is indeed double the next available option (which was likely also made in the same factory anyway)

  • It is handy to create more illegal dumping. :D

  • +1

    air-filled wheels

    Thank god!

    • Is there a version with air-filled tyres too?
I dont care so much about whats in the wheels as long as they have a solid exterior (though tbh i'd prefer steel or alloy filled wheels)

Something for that special lady in your life.

Nope. Not going to cut the mustard. Sticker on item clearly says 300kg limit.

  • Finally, I could do with a Power Dump.

  • +1

    Waiting for the V8 version

  • Probably illegal to use on footpaths and roads in NSW and VIC, but don't let that stop you!

  • +4

I'll be the envy of them all when I bring this baby to the beach as my beach trolley.

    • Can't stop laughing at this image

  • +7

    My wife would kill me.

On the other hand it would make it easier to bury the body.

  • DUMPER CONC. SOIL!!

  • +2

this is what i love about aldi….they bring you the most random things you never knew you wanted

    • +1

      Good Different!

  • +1

Warranty only for domestic use… What kind of domestic use would necessitate this?

    • I've got over an acre, and I could really use something like this. Not commercial in any way here.

      • +1

same boat, , just under an acre, but on a slope with the bult of the property uphill from the driveway. slopes + wheelbarrows are not friends

  • +1

Looking at just over $3,000 elsewhere - https://www.edisons.com.au/baumr-ag-power-wheelbarrow-motori…

This link looks like the same barrow with a different badge. More info here than on the Aldi website

    • +2

Mate that yellow one is fully sic. Mini tonka.

  • Shows how little fat ALDI and the importer have in the deal.

They sell for EURO$1349 in Europe, this might well be a cancelled European order?

Great buy if you have any use for it, seeing you can pay up to $250+ for a push wheelbarrow..

  • if I buy 10 of these and line them up like a train can they reach 60km/h?

  • +1

Or consider a far cheaper ($139+) manual alternative - Gorilla Poly Dump Carts: https://www.bunnings.com.au/search/products?q=gorilla%20cart…
I have one of these and they are great - the 115 litre one can carry up to 272 kg. More stable than a wheelbarrow and great for the garden. I have even used it to move furniture.

    • You'd need to be a Gorilla to push it up a steep bank though ;-)
