My Last few orders from target for Lego got shipped and arrived in good condition
Apparently due to be retired this year. But don't buy it as an investment, I find that Star Wars set just don't appreciate as much as some of the other themes, probably because they realise lego just re-release them eventually down the line.
Lego Star Wars is one of the best themes for investment! Some of the figures in the sets fetch in the $100s. Imagine if you had the set sealed in box its worth a fortune!
A theme I wouldn't invest in is city they don't go up much!
I think it ranges. Some sets really didn't move a whole lot. E.g. the UCS Slave 1. Once that retired it didn't exactly shoot up. Nor has it now compared to what people were expecting.
The UCS slave one is going for $500+ sealed thats a massive jump. Only sequel trilogy stuff doesn't really go up
Does anyone actually buy them for those massive mark-ups though ?
This is predicted to retire at the end of the year according to BrickHawk, if you want one before the price hike now is probably one of the last times.
