What should I learn? Which course from the list can get me $150K p.a package ?

    • None of those are 150k outright. Maybe with some luck.

    • AWS Solutions Architect Professional (Certification) + Python knowledge can get you that after a couple of years of hands on experience.
That certification is one of the toughest ones out there though!

And I recommend Stephane Maarek courses on Udemy instead - Click Here

      • I started with Stephane's course but I couldn't stand his teaching style. He is too much focused on the exams and too little on understanding underlying concepts. I ended up switching to Neal's course which to me was much much better.

        • The cool thing is, I felt the opposite. I got certified a few years ago!
And the number to people enrolled to Stephane's course and the number of reviews his course has backs up the claim of him being better.

@blahdude: Having bought both, I think both are good, and complementary. Neal is much more soft and explain things better (more visually). Slides not usually available. Stephane is more hands on labs, but has the non- Australian accent- slides are available.
The worst thing about Neal's course is the Digital Cloud logo at the beginning of each chapter. Annoying after a while. Both have pretty good coverage and together are even better.

      Not sure what’s your background.
Assuming you can target next 6 months studying/venturing about stuffs, try going for GCP Data Engineering track. There are not a lot folks out there at the moment compared to AWS ecosystem. Try cashing in before the borders open.

And follow Adrian Cantrill over LinkedIN. He’s for AWS but read his papers for fundamentals. Short and crisp.

If you have no other IT experience and just do a course, none of them will give you $150k package.
If you have years of good IT background, you can get $150k without doing any of the courses.

      • I have IT background. Not sure which path to take.

Cloud is definitely going to be in demand in the near future.
Getting your foot in the door is much harder than doing an online AWS course. You may need to really manage your career if you want to go in that direction which may even necessitate taking a temporary pay cut.
