I actually sat on one of these for the first time last weekend. I guess it's okay if you absolutely have to have a chair with you on a hike, but it felt like if I sneezed it would tip over.

I'm a huge naturehike fan myself, but I too looked at that and thought the same. At 1kg, it wont be going in my backpack.

I second this. I have two NatureHike tents and they’re absolutely amazing. Taken on multiple trips and in all conditions but this chair is terrible. I bought the chair and on the third trip it snapped on both legs. I’m 77kg and take care of my equipment. I decided to return it and buy a Helinox, and it was one of the best hiking equipment choices I made.

    • I've got one of these chairs (might be a different brand/knock-off but similar design). They're definitely not the most comfortable/stable chair but for the weight (~1kg) it's the best you can get. So if you're doing an overnight/multi day hike where the weight matters, it's not bad and I would say it's better than a fold-up stool which is lighter and smaller but you can't lean back.

    • if its between that and hoping to find a log to sit on i take the kg. honestly i dont do much 'comfort' stuff with my hiking equimpment but the chair has been one I cant leave behind (I dont have this one but same same they all come out of the same factory)
