    When choosing pick-up:
There isn't a store within 500km that has your order in stock. Please select delivery, or try a different postcode or suburb.

Great price (recently paid $30 for the Philips ones) but no stock anywhere near me.

  • +1

2 stores in QLD appear to have 1 available. Everything else out of stock.

    • I'm seeing at least 4 stores in Brisbane with stock for the B22 (North Lakes, Carseldine, Lutwyche, Tingalpa). The E27 seems a bit lower in stock.

      • Oxley and Browns Plains too.

With 450 lumens, I can't think of anywhere I would use them though…

        • yeah - what is that equivalent to - maybe 40W incandescent - where did we use those ?

          maybe as a bedside lamp

but that's about it AFAIK - maybe restaurants (remember those?) or cafes wanting to set a yellow moood …

          • @Hangryuman: Bought - far too amber for everyday use.
And need more than 1 bulb (that was available per store) to set the mood.
Similar lights are used together in trendy cafes (yes, some of us do visit) - but it's like living in a dark cave.

Yes - multiple stores showing in stock 30min ago, but little per store.
Tried order of 3, then 2… "There isn't a store within 500km that has your order in stock."

Ordered 1 B22 @Tingalpa & Capalaba, then there were none there.

        Expecting order cancelled email…
"Great news, your order is ready to be picked up."

        • Whre about

          • @hurr1cane: Tingalpa & Capalaba - Brisbane, as discussed above by OP.

Closest stock now Sunshine Coast & Hervey Bay.

      • There’s 1 at Loganhome however it’s spelled

  • Should point out that this does apply to NSW as all NSW GG stores are closed

      Did you miss a "not"?

  • Thanks, my local store has a few and I got 2 to use in the bedside table lamps that I'll pick up tomorrow.

  • Auburn & Castle Hill Seems to have stock but disappointed that there is a limit of 3 I was planning on using these on a fairy light setup of 20. Any other ideas or use cases?

  • What controls does this have? Just on, off and brightness?

  • Good deal if you can pick up

  • +2

    Good price! Thanks👍
Ordered 2 B22 to collect in Brisbane. But only 1 available per store.
No E27 in stock 15min ago.

With such low stock levels - expecting order cancelled email…
"Great news, your order is ready to be picked up."

  • Thanks OP - hopefully ordered the last one in stock at my local, fingers crossed.

  • Thanks OP, great deal!!

ordered one from Amazon and it isn't compatible with other triggers like Tuya IR sensor etc. Email them about if there is any compatible ones, they said don't even make their own. So only good as a smart lightbulb but not that smart.

Nothing within 500km of Perth for bayonet style - saved you a click.

    • saved you a click

Clicked 5min later & Found available 32km from Perth!
      Set order to 1 B22 @Clarkson, WA 6030.
      Now OOS

      • https://www.amazon.com.au/dp/B081FGTY4Q is $24, so you're saving $20.

Cheapest petrol in Clarkson is 150c per L, average fuel economy of a car is 11.7L / 100km (your mileage may vary :D) a trip of 32km uses about 3.74L or 7.48L round trip, costing you around $11.20, that leaves you a saving of $8.80, the round trip will take 1 hour so that's 1 hour of your time for $8.80. :D

I hope you enjoy the drive though!

        • Still 32km from Perth is a lot less than the 500km min to nearest store with stock😉
That would be a far more expensive drive!

          • @INFIDEL: Indeed! Going to have to start the fireplace up tonight.

      • clarkson doesn't have stock received ready to pick up message 5 mins after I place the order and then called me no stock.

    • just got 2 from osborne park store

$4 because each store has like one in stock.

    okay.jpg

  • Warning!
There isn't a store within 500km that has your order in stock.

    • As others commented - usually only 1 in stock per store.

I set order to 1 & found stores to order from (a while back), but got that message for order of 2. So ordered 1 at 2 stores. Both ready to collect!

But over 1hr into clearance Deal, most stock would be gone.

      • I only tried ordering 1, nothing near Sydney.

It's hardly worth driving to a store to save $20 on one bulb.

The girl in the third photo must really like light globes

She has nearly $500 of globes in the one floor lamp if she paid full price for them

  • But it's amber…

    • I don't see "colour"… at this price.

      • Well yes, 'cos it's not colour… it's amber :P

        • +1

After buying, found I don't like amber lighting!

          • @INFIDEL: Me too.

I always liked really warm white bulbs, but these are a strong yellow with terrible CRI. I regret purchasing 2 of these.

It's a light globe not hard translucent fossilized resin originating from extinct coniferous trees of the Tertiary period.

  • Probably been asked, but this will work with TP link Kasa app?

    • +3

It hasn't been asked because it's clear from the title and deal description.

  • Managed to pick up a B22 from the Penrith store (NSW)

  • +1

Assuming the 82 upvotes are from the 82 individuals who got one globe each across the country

  • Why is it so hard to see availability on the Good Guys website?
It only seems to show the closest couple of stores so you have to keep changing store to see what is around that store.
Or is there a quick way of seeing all stores in your city/state?
