Update:
Optus:
Can have a eSim for Phone and Watch but my tablet would need to be seperate.
Tablet data sim @ $15 per month (Retentions team indicated they could do $12).
After advising I will be pulling all my services and going with another provider, they were not interested in retaining me.
Hi All,
I recently purchased a new phone (Z Fold 3) and a smartwatch (Galaxy Watch 4 Classic). I also have an older LTE tablet which requires a Sim Card.
I currently have a good phone plan with Optus with a fair amount of data - more than suitable for all 3 devices. What I am trying to do is not have to have 3 separate services which will require me to have 3 separate plans to have all three running at once.
It would be great to hear peoples experiences with Optus number sharing, and if I can do it across 3 devices, 2 of which being eSim devices. Additionally, if anyone has had this same situation, which provider was able to give you the best possible outcome, as I am currently not locked in and open to switching.
I know that many people will say, "just read the Optus website" or "call them". I actually have done both and not received a clear answer about whether this is possible.
When speaking to Optus I have received 3 different options…. first - to pay a fee per month per device to enable this service, second - to have three phone plans, and third - to have the watch and phone on one plan and have the tablet on an additional Sim Plan costing a minimum of $25 per month.
Any information or experiences would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks OZBargain community!
