I have been receiving the emails from Audible every few weeks to renew my membership.
It started at $8 p/m for 3 months then went to $8 p/m for 6 months.
I just received an offer of $4.45 per month for 3 months.
Has anyone received anything better than this (except for the free trial of course)
If you try and cancel they usually offer you a better deal on the spot.
Don't forget to sign up with Audible UK, Audible US and Audible Canada too.
They all offer at least one free audiobook on sign-up, discounted months and free audiobooks when you threaten to cancel. The offers repeat every few months, so you should never need to pay the full monthly price.
You do have to change region within the app to access books downloaded from each store; they don't all appear as one single library.
I cancelled in July - and have received no offers. I've not been impressed with what's available on BorrowBox and Libby so far. Looks like I may have to visit Audible in the other regions.
I got $2.45 for 2 months earlier this year,
I find the discounts on AU are better than those offered in the US.
I had to cancel my membership though, all the time at home I havent had the driving time to listen and have an excess of books to catch up on. Have a good 10/15 sci fi / fantasy books to get through.
Tend to end up reading and not listening when I am at home.
I got a 3 months free trial after having had my membership cancelled for a year.
Do you get to keep your credits after you cancel the membership?
