How about some free shipping for OzBargainers, rep?

    • +1

I am just thinking what I can offer to make the deal better.

  • +3

$24.99 for 250g. not sure if it is really a bargain tbh

  • +7

    $2.50/bag, 25g each bag…that’s a bit exxy…

If you really want OzBargainers to try it (and hopefully endorsed it as one of our favourite snacks), you’ll have to give us a promotional price. Maybe try $15 delivered and you’ll get me to buy a batch to try.

    • +2

      Hi Siu
I was just thinking about that. The price is on point but the delivery used to vbe $5 flat fee but Australia post just put it up for uis again. I will work out what I can do.

      • +1

Yes, removing delivery and I'm willing to give it a shot. Otherwise it's a no

        • +1

Same, $9 to WA from WA is a bit exxy….

      • OP - I just put an order through and accidentally checked-out 3 batches of the pork crackling. Can you adjust as per my message in the contact us section? Thanks in advance.

What in earth is pork crackle? Should be pork crackling…

  • Outback Crackle 25g range is available in three delicious flavors Roast & Bacon.

    Interesting

    • And chipotle but I am waiting on the new packaging along with the bacon. We spent 12 months redoing our flavors to go gluten free

  • -1

Hrmm cooked in crappy oil. It's a no from me. I'd pay more for a quality oil.

    • +7

      Cooked in lard not oil

        • +9

Yeah, cause you are eating Pork Crackle for its nutritional values…..

  • -2

I prefer to pickup from coles 2 bucks or the other one 1.8 bucks lol

    • We don't sell to Coles only Woolworths for BWS stores in WA

      • I mean this. 2 bucks at coles
Master Crackles Oven Baked Pork Crackle Sea Salt
        50g everyday product

Also guys this is the first post we have made on ozbargain. I will see what I can do for future offers. We are a small WA business struggling with pork and beef price rises and on top of that Australia post is killing us with delivery charges. Thank you for your support.

    • Thanks OP, I have jumped on the deal now with your coupon.

      • let me know when it arrives please

    • thought pork price went down. our local shop is reducing their pork ribs special from $29 to $25.

  • I cannot find anyone who makes honey pepper jerky. If you ever do please let me know. I reckon it would be epic.

  • Hi OP, I just tried to place order for 2 boxes but comes up " this request can not be authorised" when I try to make payment.

    • Same here.

      • Hi, this was an issue with square payments at the time it was resolved a few hours later.

        • Hi @outbackjerky Thanks for getting back on this issue. I appreciate the update and the fact the deal is still on so I have now placed an order (which went through seamlessly this time) for some goodies. Thanks again and best of luck :).

    • My order went through mins ago.

Had an issue with Firefox/Paypal, but changed to Chrome and it was fine?

      • FWIW mine went through fine on Firefox yesterday.

    • Hi, this was an issue with square payments at the time it was resolved a few hours later.

  • It is a bit expensive for 25g bags. Would be happy to give it a go if its cheaper

    • its actually $1 per bag plus delivery with the coupon

  • +3

    Done.

I work in shipping, so I understand shipping costs and delays with AP ATM. It is terrible, not your fault.

I look at what is in your control. Order->Dispatch time, communication, flavour etc.

Handle that, and im sure you guys will do fine.

Looking forward to that sweet Pork goodness!

  • where do you put the coupon code in?

    • Hi you need to enter it on the basket page. add the item to the basket then view the basket and you can add the code

  • Happy to give it a go.

OP… Any idea why adding two to the cart is adding an extra cent to the total?

    • sometimes its the way it works due to GST. I have to put the price in the back end with a number of digits after the due to the rounding it seems to round up one cent if adding more on the GST.

  • Tried doing it but the request could not be authorised

  • I missed out on putting in the promo code. Order number #5052…

  • You know what we like here, a good jerky deal!

    • Thinking about what deal I can do for jerky

  • What is the texture like?
Is it more dense like J Crackleton

    or more airy like Nobby's?

No judgement either way, just want to know what i'm getting into. Your Jerky looks great though, much better than the candy jerky you see in stores.

    • screw it, I ordered some and some Jerky too. Photo's on FB show it looking more dense like J Crackleton which is my preferred texture so i'm looking forward to it.

      • +1

Also our jerky has no sugar its dryer and the real deal not like the commercial brands loaded with sugar and additives. Its not soft.

    • +1

Our crackle is not light and puffy like the imported rind. We cook the old english way in lard so its more dens and not as puffy.

  • +2

My order arrived today. I don't personally eat it, but feedback from the rest of my family is that it tastes great and better than what they've been buying from the shop.

    • thanks

  • Bought one to give you guys a try

  • OP, can you do a deal on the unseasoned crackle in small bags?

    • are you thinking the 250g bag?

      • I meant could you make a batch of the unseasoned in 25g bags for the same price? that’s if there is enough interest from others.

        • +1

Its getting the packing made that's expensive cost me around 8k to set up a new flavor. We do have the 250g unseasoned and I will do a promo today for the 250g and 1kg unseasoned bags. in the future if I have a lot of demand I would get the packaging made for small unseasoned bags.

  • +1

    Hi Guys

Just wanted to say a big thank you from all that ordered. The feedback from you all is great. Today is the last day of this promotion till 10pm tonight. If you didnt order already this is the last few hours.

    Thanks
    Scott
