Quite a few android apps for 49 cents, being a mix of games and utilities.

Not sure if this is goingbe a daily thing like Amazon, but the app Where's my Water is on sale for 25 cents.

    Tunein pro is 49 cents. I use the free version all the time, so works out for me. I believe the differences are the ability to record and a home screen widget.

      Paid a buck for it a while ago, recording is extremely useful - connect to wifi, record, go on train, play back :)

      I think they accept pretty much all credit and debit cards. Just sign up for a google wallet account. http://www.google.com/wallet/

        You don't need Google Wallet… not in Australia anyway. G-Wallet is an US-centric service.

        I just pay using my VISA Debit card (ATM card)

    The Where's My Water game is excellent - I got it free for iOS from a deal here a while ago. It's worth 49c for sure.

        The 100mb download is comparatively small to some of the games there. Some of the videos can be watched on Youtube, you don't need to keep it on your device.

    I have World Of Goo on PC; brilliant game.

    I'd prefer them doing a 'free app a day' like Amazon, but it's good to see them being a little more interactive now.

      I actually prefer a 25c app of the day, because it will help prevent me filling up my phone with free but poor apps, while hopefully encouraging better applications to participate (as there is still a financial incentive).

      The Amazon 'free app' of the daily is nearly always terrible. I think PvZ was the best one. The 10c for 10 days sale was probably the best one yet.

        I'm thinking of buying N.O.V.A. 2 now at this price and waiting for the devs to make it compatible with the Transformer Prime. I did the same with Asphalt 6: Adrenaline for the 10c sale, and it's now compatible. Saved 39 cents, Hells Yeah!

          Did the same thing, NOVA incompatible with Galaxy Tab 7.7, just bought it on the Galaxy Nexus, didn't bother with the big download to keep it under my Google Account.

    I purchased an app for $0.49. My credit card has been charged an addtion $2 for 'Pending - Goofle Checkout Internet'. I searced Google Wallet help which states this is a temporary/pending authorisation. I am new to Google Wallet. Does this $2 charge happen on 1st purchase or every purchase?

    I just bought pocket league story but when i open it, it goes "game starting" then "authenticating" and then a dialogue box opens in japanese and when i press okay the game just closes….how do i fix this? =S

      I had that exact problem with Game Dev story (another nearly identical game). Go to "Manage Applications" and clear it's cache. Should do the trick.

    It seems just as 'Where's My Water' was 25 cents yesterday (now $1), today's 25 cent "Play of the Day" is 'Flick Golf Extreme'.

    Some help please: I have a HTC Legend atm. For some odd reason, over half the apps are incompatible with it. I'm upgrading very soon, and want games like Osmos and Pocket League Story, but it will not let me buy the game at all, even if it's for future use. What can I do to overcome this? I thought Apple was the restrictive one…

      That's annoying; I can't see any way around this other than borrowing someone else's device. Oddly enough, Osmos does work on Legend (though slow).

        This item is not compatible with your device." (Great description telling me why it's not compatible).

        It must be because my phone is not updated. I'm only on 2.2 atm.

    I have tried to order a game. There was an error and the funds weren't processed and I was told to try again later.
    Now every time I try to purchase any game it states:

    "We're sorry. The requested profile was not found
    For your protection, Google Wallet needs to verify your information. Update now" <<<<< (I only see this when pasting) and I am unable to click anything.

    Has this happened to anyone? Any ideas?

      market (google play) is better than getjar. Regular updates without constantly saying you did not purchase this.

      Those like me who got this from getjar but wish to convert to market, you can purchase using the method in XDA forum - http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=23356474 (use google chrome - inspect element - to change purchased flag).

    Great, I finally figure out how to buy games without the proper device and the sale ends. Thanks Google Play Customer Service for their excellent help which came conveniently after the sale ended, and didn't answer my query at all.
