[VIC] Carl's Jr. Offers - Valid until 3rd October 2021 (Physical Voucher Required)

202

The latest Carl's Jr. vouchers are out, valid till 3/10/2021.

You'll find more specials on the updated v.2 of the 'My Carl's' app http://onelink.to/vfump4

More info at: https://carlsjr.com.au

FYI:
Carl's Jr is new to Australia but has been around a long time!
The 'founded' timeline: McDonald's on May 15, 1940, Carlโ€™s Jr on July 17, 1941 (1946 introduced burgers) and then, July 23, 1953 Burger King (our HJโ€™s).
Carl's Jr burgers are 'chargrilled', unlike HJ's 'flamegrilled'.
The burgers are BETTER at Carl's. Try the Angus burger range and taste for yourself.
I DO NOT WORK OR AM ASSOCIATED IN ANYWAY to Carl's Jr. other than being a fan and addict. :-)

How did you get a physical copy?

    • +11

      Maybe he works for them?

    • they are not exactly kept in a locked chest in Guantanamo Bay…

      • So do you have an actual answer? Are they available in store?
I have only seen digital ones before

      • -3

no info on the website and the app, so for all you know they could be in the chest.

  • So how do these work, download app and vouchers in the app?

  • -7

Are these prices inclusive of tax?
Last time I went in there, all of their advertised prices did not include any taxes..making it look cheaper, but once you order and pay, taxes are added after.
Very misleading..and don't think so it's even legal in Australia.

    • +2

That is very illegal in Australia. Or, at least the ACCC says it is…

    • +1

This is not true … Unless at an airport or something funky

        Docklands store in Victoria.
I asked the staff member after I paid, as the bill was higher than expected.
        And checked the receipt too.
Tax not included on advertised prices and staff member confirmed!

        • +3

I have been there and this is not true

          • -4

@quikstix: Oh well, you probably did not check your receipt, do it next time.
I have contacted Accc and the restaurant, so they can fix this!

@POTATO10: I was literally at Docklands and Altona West last week.

Price was as per what was advertised on boards, EFTPOS machine and receipt. And I have just checked my bank transaction history also against the receipts in my car to triple confirm.

          • +2

@quikstix: Same, one of the country Victorian stores. What I paid matched what was on the price board, ie inclusive of GST.

        • +2

          $6.95 + $12.95 + $7.50 = $27.40.

Subtotal on Docket shows $24.91 - This is the Ex GST total. They then show $2.49 GST. $24.91 +$2.49 =$27.40.

Not only are the burgers better at Hungry Jack's, so is the accounting.

The first Carlโ€™s Jr.ยฎ restaurants opened in 1956. not 1941 as OP claims.

            @Baysew: I did too..lol..
Confusion the way they put it..lol
            Apologies

I have had Carls Jr a few times and always been disappointed. Each time I hope it will be up to the hype and price, then wonder why I keep trying. Maybe because it's within walking distance

    • +1

I'd rate it just a notch better than hj really. Go get a food truck burger if you want something good.

I just hope five guys doesn't disappoint.

      Disappointed compared to what?

      • This

  • How do you claim it?

    • If someone rotouches that photo so the coupons are printable, then we may have a chance.

I assume phone is not fine.
