I’m currently on a month to month plan with Telstra. I’m keen to join the merry go round that is the bonus gift cards that come with 12 month mobile contracts. For work purposes I need to stick with Telstra.
Who can I switch out to - while maintaining the use of the Telstra network, which would allow me to port back into Telstra to get the bonuses that appear from time to time?

Yes you have to be off Telstra network and port back. Boost mobile is effectively rebranded Telstra so no port happens when you sign up for plan.

Aldi mobile or woolworths are your best options
Ive personally used Aldi to do the switch
just be aware that JB requires you to be out of Telstra for 30 days so you need to time it exactly right or you end up paying for 2 months of aldi mobile
Do you actually need that much data per month?
The boost $300 sim which can be had for $245 on ebay provides 1 year of calls plus international calls which telstra doesnt.
Works out at $21 a month but you only get about 240GB a year
Regularly on sale @ $234. Currently bonus 20GB so 260GB in total.
Cashrewards have a woolworth mobile promo on atm - but it looks like woolworths mobile uses the telstra network
Boost? Though I did read someone say that it won't work, that you have to be out of the Telstra network entirely before porting in. Someone can confirm.
