Ski Holiday NZ
Following the recent $150 off flights to NZ and reading through the comments, lots of people are going on ski trips. http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/65474
Obviously the flight price is a good incentive, but what are people doing for accom, gear hire and lift passes?
How much does a week skiing in the snow cost you?

i see you get aroundjlc: amount it costs depends on how luxurious you want to be
many options available and they can all be tailored if you have the time to research
getting more people to come and share the costs always lowers it overallaround the 1000 region is very good benchmark for overall (excluding gear hire)

I've travelled to Queenstown every season for the past 3 years, you'll find good package deals for Flights, Accommodation, Lift Passes, etc on the airnewzealand website. We've got deals before for around $1000-1100 per person for flights and accommodation for 6 nights.
