Will this not support 12th gen?
Nope, 10th & 11th only unfortunately
12th gen looks very expensive, pair that with a new expensive motherboard and expensive DDR5. It is going to be very expensive overall with all the bugs that will go with it being a first adopter of DDR5 and big/little cores.
I’m guessing you haven’t taken a look at AIB leaks for tray pricing. They’re surprisingly cheap for the level of performance they’re offering.
Maybe the costs are shifted to motherboards? I don’t know, but it seems Intel is intending to compete with AMD in pricing. The prices I saw was almost $800 USD for an i9 and $650 USD for i7. I wouldn't say that's cheap.
Intel and AMD are following each other up in price. Same thing happened with GPUs.
Any itx deals?
Alternative maybe is the B560M AORUS Pro for $99 using the $10off code

Whoa, the price went back up after you got yours. https://www.ebay.com.au/bin/purchaseHistory?item=33414783957…
I was the previous buyer.we are the lucky two lol
@Legend K: Heads up. I just returned mine for the motherboard CPU combo that's been posted. An extra $280 and it comes with an 11400.
Just be aware Intel 12th gen is around the corner.
