NEW VINTAGE OF A PREMIUM SINGLE VINEYARD SHIRAZ FROM ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL WINEMAKERS IN OUR HISTORY FROM UNDER $10. SAVE $348 A DOZEN.

The Intense black crimson with youthful purple red hues. Voluptuous black berry fruit aromas of mulberry, plum and blackberry with interwoven oak character. This wine illustrates exactly how I have been handcrafting premium red wine for my entire life, in the vineyard. The terror and microclimate of this block produces year after year intense black berry fruit flavours with obvious characters of this vintage being plum, blackberries and mulberries. The extended time in barrel and use of different aged oak allowed this flavour to infiltrate the wine without over powering it and to run seamlessly into the natural tannin structure of the wine.

  • Delivery appears to be $7.50

  • I love GWD. Their marketing team do spout some carp sometime!

"ONE OF THE MOST INFLUENTIAL WINEMAKERS IN OUR HISTORY" So famous you don't need to tell us his name.

Tip: We like free stuff, $1 stuff, but not random stuff at high street prices.

  • +3

The description is pretty bad needs to have a proper price so $10.99 per bottle + Postage or $119.88 for a dozen + Postage

  • Is that terra or terror?
Ivan Limb is the winemaker and his name would be great listed on the post not just the vineyard in the title OP :)
Would certainly deem it worth a try since I paid that for the Wolfblass cabernet-merlot I'm quaffing now…

  • Can anyone please tell me whether this kind of wine can be aged? Or anyone here kindly point me the link or wine name can be aged for let say 20year? I am not the wine drinker. therefor wanna kept it for present. Thanks alot

  • definitely should be terra, as in soil / earth … not terror, as in "oh my god, this is hideous!"

Ivan Limb, one of the investors in cockatoo ridge during it's financial troubles? It mentions nothing of him being a wine maker, only an investor … influential, but is that in a positive way?

back on topic though, I'm struggling to find an independent review of the wine, is it a new release from a new winery? how old are the vineyards? are they heavy handed with the tannon, as per most 10$ bottles of wine?

  • I'd do some proper research before buying wine. Not some random non-bargain on here.

Also, I wouldn't want to age cheap wine. It won't get much better, but will get much worse in a few years time.
