Waterproof Kodak Mini Video Camera with Free 8GB SanDisk Micro SD Card $29.95 Delivered Save 70%

430

Not a bad deal considering I brought one from Teds for $79.95 pre Christmas.
$29.95 delivered with a bonus micro sd card for the first 400 orders.
It's waterproof, takes video and still photos, easy upload to youtube which are the biggest selling points.
No HD but hey….for $29.95 i think it's a great gift or in my case for the kids to trash.

  • Darn. Nevermind… telling me I don't need it or the bag to go with ;)

  • Mine arrived yesterday by courier. These are excellent. I am going to use one in the car to record the idiots.

By the way with the 8GB card inserted the camera reports that you have 4h 20m recording available. I don't know how long the battery lasts. I thought that it may be possible to run it from usb via the cigarette lighter socket but this is not possible.

Also, the Kodak website says that a 2GB card is included but the packaging that came says 'required' and it was not there, so lucky the 8GB one was part of the deal.

All round an excellent deal, thanks.

    • Got mine as well.

  • Mine arrived too, no 2GB card included, only the 8GB card. Can't complain too much, a 2GB card probably only costs about $2 now (if you can still buy them.)

I'm very impressed with the low-light performance of this little video camera! Most cheap cameras are absolutely crap at night, but this one is very good. Haven't tried it under water yet but looking forward to giving it a go.

Uses about 2GB per 1 hour of recording. The battery lasted until the 8GB card was full, so it's not one of those stupid gimicky cameras that only allows you to film half an hour of footage.

I didn't expect much, but was very pleasantly surprised!

    • Great to hear about the battery life, that is encouraging. What were you filming for more than 4 hours? LOL. Was that continuous use or over a period?

      • I just set it down near the window filming the road in one continuous movie, to see how long the battery would last. I tried it again next day but it only made it to 3 hour 15 minutes before the battery went flat, which still isn't bad. Maybe times will become more consistent after it's been through a few charge/discharge cycles.

        • Excellent, thanks for the information. Mainly wanted to know what sort of time I could record on a trip in the car.
