$124 from msy = no deal. + its not shopping square.
    http://www2.netgear.com.au/bonus/promos/high_performance_bon… link for bonus thingy.

  • The signal from the 5Ghz band is rather weak on all the available channels. USB readyshare is designed to work on PCs and Macs only.

Price match got one about $150 from Officeworks a year ago. Firmware always has problem here there. wireless drop off for no reason at all. Returned after a month or so finding and trying different solution. Do some reseach before you decide get this Netgear (they are keen to lunch before it ready, then don't bother to fix the fw problem). Got a ASUS Black Diamond Router (RT-N56U) after return the Netgear, no problem what so ever: stronger signal, never hang.

  • Personally had no problem with this router, purchased 16 months ago (paid about $180 more or less back then).
Only drawback is Netgear never bother to update its fw, the management interface looks pretty out of date. (not user friendly)
For less $130, I would say it's a good deal, with bonus of a free wifi dongle.

  • Hmm having a hard choice to pick this one or the Asus RT-N56U.. I've got bigpond ultimate cable so need more grunt.. hmmm

  • This or 7800nl?
