I'd say you'd have to be a real sucker to pay full price for the Apple case ($79), but $39 is a good deal. At that price it's only $10 more than Officework's no-name Otto silicon case (which is actually surprisingly good, I have to say).

You can deduct anything you like, just be prepared to defend it if you get audited.
It falls under extra costs when filing the return. Extra cost of setting up the equipment
I really like the silicone feel, but I remember once you put it in your pants pocket, the dust and lint etc gets stuck on the case pretty easily and hard to get off.

missing packaging so all fell off the ori - ginal box, touched and squished and all dumped in the cage facing the front entrance only things in the worse conditions are put on sale in OW, like box that was run over by a bus or skid marks on the item.

I don't get it, what's the difference between this and the $10 silicone case sold on eBay? why should I justify this as bargain and the $10 phone case on eBay as regular price?

The iPhone 12 mini cases were reduced to $7.50 for every case at the Oxley (QLD) Officeworks a few weeks back. Apple, Otterbox, Lifeproof - all $7.50.
Couldn't find any 12's on special otherwise would have bought a few.
