Exclusive coupon posted on DX Facebook.
First 500 uses, min $20 spend.
this would be handy for someone wanting to buy something like xk3y
yep. just ordered one.
And yes full code is DXLOVESYOU, first few clicks with DXLOV gave me no love…
DX prices are pretty normal now, you can get the same products from Asian vendors on eBay for cheaper. I only use them as a catalogue now.
Have been noticing this too… the prices aren't that good compared to ebay, and with a little searching it's pretty easy to find something that ships from Sydney in a few days.
BuyInCoins is usually cheaper than ebay and you can use the coupon "5%eBay2012" for 5% off.
Theres heaps of new sites another is priceangels.com . My last order from DX was a complete stuff up and as mentioned their not even super cheap anymore .
(Links cut from my bookmarks, so some may be dead, out of date, buried in peat…)
In my experience eBay is often cheaper (probably because of direct competition), but sometimes one of these sites has a better price. Many of them list on eBay.
In any case, I prefer buying on eBay and paying through PayPal because of that little extra "buyer protection".
Totally agree. Have been buying from DX for four years, but these days I can find the same item on eBay from Hong Kong vendors for the same or lower price, but - more importantly - it arrives much faster.
LOL! nothing more encouraging than a video explaining their mistakes..
That was a really odd video.
Look at the video carefully, notice at 1:34 someone is walking out of a ePro office and alot of them are wearing ePro lanyards so guess the outsourced chinese mainlanders got the better of them especially during the long chinese new year holiday period… man my item was shipped after 1 month placing it, guess another 1 month for delivery..
FB post states other half of the code on twitter tweet so full code is DXLOVESYOU
Edited. Thank you.
Bought a Fiio E6, been meaning to do that for a while. (Only saved a $1 though, lol.)
min $20 spend.
min $20 spend.
what??? so you practically have to buy the whole store !!!
$1 discount doesn't compensate for waiting 3 months for product.
And as noted above, their prices no longer justify any loyalty.
My $2 battery holder just arrived - more than 4 months after ordering.
Can't remember what I wanted it for. :-(
It was a Xmas present for your mum
it's good enough for cables and adapters, with that said the two times I ordered they sent me the wrong shit, the second time I had to send stuff back, but they did pay for it.
Bam! New bike light order I've been sitting on for a couple of days is done. Thanks kiddies.
Yeh I've placed my last order with DX. After taking 6 weeks to get my "AU Warehouse" Christmas lights to me despite charging $4 more for the privilege, and now taking over a month for my recent order I'll never use them again.
My last 2 orders were accepted but then showed as "Unable to fulfil". Waited a while then sent email. No reply so lodged a dispute with Paypal. Since Chinese New Year and a change to their ordering software, their service has gone downhill. I too will not be ordering anymore from DX.
I just checked my.dealextreme.com website to check out my orders. Turns out those Xmas lights took from 14/12 to 17/01 to go from "PrepareShipment" to "Fullfillshipment" :|
anyone ever try and succeed to buy and received the BB gun from DX?
Tried and failed. Customs is onto it
i bought something fro mdeal extreme 2 months ago, hasnt shown up. i emailed them asking about it and they sent me a generic email with a video about how theyre upgrading their warehouses admitting and excusing themselves for being super slow…. worst customer service i have experienced
I had an item that was showing as pending shipment even after a month, opened a ticket and they refunded the amount straight back to me.
But I still wanted the product..-wry-
they didn't love me long time
Has anyone's order actually shipped from this 5% off deal? Mines become "stuck" they say, and recommend I cancel it and order again! Minus 5% discount!!!!!
