    • Updated the listing, thank you:)

I'm guessing that is a GOG key and not for Steam?

  • Reckon it’s worth it for $36 on x1x?

    • +2

I think game is ~ok~ atm. Don't expect the world, but like a grimy post-modern witcher.

I bought for pc last week for $25

    • +3

Don't waste your money. I gave the game away for free. Didn't want him to pay for such game.

    • +5

No, it's been cheaper, will be cheaper, will be still many months, before it's in a state that it'll be worth it.
I suspect all the bad design stuff will be smoothed out in DLC or paid DLC.

Consider buying it for $15 and then buying another $40 of DLC on that to make it an all in one package in 6 to 12 months.

    • +2

      worth it at discount

not worth it at full price

even more worth it on PC cause the mods make the game miles better

it will get better with future DLCs for sure

dont listen to the biased haters. Anyone giving an extreme "its great" or "dont bother" arent being objective

All the bugs and stuff have mostly been ironed, out any real complaints is the open world aspect has nothing to do and dumb AI, but its not the first game to have this problem, its just not gimicky like rockstar games, but also no depth like witcher

      nothing DLCs cant fix

The game is worth it alone for the stunning visuals

    Price matching EBgames

  • Has the XsX update dropped?

    • +4

It has been delayed until next year 🤦‍♂️

  • +4

Next gen updates delayed until next year for this & Witcher 3 unfortunately: https://press-start.com.au/news/playstation/2021/10/21/cyber…

    • bearish

    PC Gog version is still on CDKeys for under $36 too;
    https://www.cdkeys.com/pc/games/cyberpunk-2077-gog-pc

  • +4

By the time they drop the next gen update, disc should go like 19 or even 2 for 30

  • +5

    Wait for BF/Christmas/Boxing Day sales.

    Price will likely go lower.

  • The Xbox series s says no

    • ~$30 on Eneba

  • +2

Really looking forward to this hyped game if it's anything like the witcher series!

  • +3

    Diamonds hands fellas, $20

  • I think we can hit $29 at Black Friday.

    • +2

      die harder $20

    • It already did, I got it at hv for $29 a couple of weeks ago…

  • +1

    How is this still $36?
Most other games that received a similar luke warm reception are usually under $10 within a year of release (Fallout 76, Anthem, Mass Effect Andromeda, etc)

    • +2

Well this still got a few +ve votes, so there must still be a market, I guess? Never used to happen back in the day, but there's a lot of thickies on here nowadays.

I think this is a social experiment. Cyberpunk will continue to drop in price. The last person on earth to buy it wins (I've got a feeling that will end up being me, FYI).

2 of those games are online based crap and the 3rd was a terrible game.

This game is far above that trash, albeit hyped beyond belief

    • +2

Well two of those make money from online content, and the third game was hated on more than it should have been.

Honestly I'm guessing people expect the issues to be resolved at some point, kinda likr No Man's Sky.

    • Not Warcraft 3 reforged. I want that game so badly but still RRP.

  • +6

Should be a $5 special probably will be by the post xmas sales.

  • Likely will be $28 on BF or Boxing day

  • now or wait for black Friday?

    • +1

      Can't hurt to wait.

      • it is now expired anyway :D

  • +2

PC is brilliant. But don’t buy this for next gen consoles unless you don’t mind waiting till next years update.

And just… don’t buy on old gen. Just don’t.

    • +2

      It sucked on PC

      • +5

        I don't agree but that's cool.

      • Doesn't now.
Most of the graphical corruption has been fixed, and the quality is pretty decent

        • Is the AI still nonexistent?

          • @[Deactivated]: Are you able to provide some context ? There's several layers of AI in the game

  • +2

    This is still overpriced.

  • Story was pretty short. Not as buggy as it was at launch. Graphics are amazing, but mechanics aren't all that.

  • -6

Game isn't worth $0.36c. Lol at the next-gen update being delayed til early 2022… be lucky if it comes out by mid next year, let alone early…

Woke trash from pansexual hipster douche devs.

    • +3

This is the first time I'm hearing there's woke trash in this game. Is this one also infected by wokeness?

    • +3

You wanted to date Judy and she turned you down? Made you a bit angry?

      • +3

LOL that's a good explanation of why this dude's so mad.

  • Game is stable now (PC/version 1.31) compared to release.

  • +1

I just started playing this (PS4 Pro). Yeh, it's not a perfect game, but I'm still really enjoying it. Definitely worth the $35 I paid.

  • What's the go with ps5 release?

  • +1

So I'm assuming the next gen upgrade isn't coming out this year? Still have this game brand new in case waiting lmao

  • +1

This vibe of this game is depressing even without the bugs.

    • If it was more realistic, you'd be moving rental couples into smaller and smaller homes as they can't afford a place to live.

Whoops, I confused this with the Moving out on Switch for $13 thread………..

  • +4

Arguably one of the biggest flops of the decade in terms of hype and release outcome.

  • +1

Have only had one crash on PC - rate it as in line with RDR2 with depth and beauty of the world is astounding - i love it

  • +1

Also available locally from EB games for $36:
    https://www.ebgames.com.au/product/pc/164816-cyberpunk-2077-…

  • I played this on pc when it first came out, literally no issues, no bugs, no missions failing, crashing to desktop etc

Re-installed it a few weeks ago to see whats new/different, the game is a complete buggy mess. Not sure what these 'updates' have done but they certainly havent made the game any better.

  • This game sucked, I honestly wouldn't pay more than $10 for it. It's essentially a Cyberpunk city walking simulator

  • I accidentally bought 2 copies from both EB and Amazon. Played from one copy on my PS4 Pro and just couldn’t get into it pass the mark of 20’. Returned one to EB and the other is still in wrap.

CD Projekt is a great developer but only if they learn not to make decisions to rush a game under corporate pressure and not overhype their product. Still waiting for The Witcher 3 PS5 upgrade so I can play it again.
