+10 votesI ordered on Saturday under (one of) the old price(s). Phone hasn't arrived yet but is due any day now. I just rang Kogan and they were happy to refund me the difference between what I paid and the current price. So easy! I just asked nicely, and they were happy to do it.
I don't feel that they are obliged to, and I don't feel I am 'entitled' to the refund, but since people on whirlpool had said they'd had luck asking, I thought I didn't have anything to lose.
Certainly gets Kogan a whole heap of positive consumer sentiment from me and anyone who'll let me tell them about it!

mr_asstight on 21/03/2012 - 13:57 ¶hmm problem with this is i don't know if the price protection on 28 degrees is void if paying with paypal even though you're charging the 28 degrees card
stargalaxy on 21/03/2012 - 14:54 ¶Unbelievable, SG Nexus is cheaper than SG SII at Kogan. Thinking of getting one when it was $600+, if below $400, definitely consider getting one.

penrithman on 21/03/2012 - 15:17 ¶In terms of the phone note that Telstra has released the ICS update for the Velocity 4G so there are now more choices if you want the latest OS on your phone.
BrockSamson on 21/03/2012 - 16:42 ¶The impending release of the HTC One X and S as well as ICS updates for lots of existing handsets is probably driving prices down. I mean the HTC One S is being billed as 'mid-range' phone and yet on paper it has better specs than the Nexus (slightly smaller screen though). The novelty factor of the Nexus is quickly being eroded.
