Question Regarding Warranty Repair on Caravan

Just bought a new caravan and all was good until one of the plumbing connectors failed and started leaking, partially flooding the area near the leak.

I don't live near the dealer but he directed me to another caravan outfit near me and the leak was repaired - all good. Now the problem is that the water caused the particle board underneath the shower door to bulge/swell and it looks like a sizeable job to get it repaired/replaced.

I haven't contacted the dealer as yet about this but the leak caused this problem so it should be a warranty repair as well - is this correct?

  Correct……. but that doesn't mean they'll want to do it first time you ask.

  How new? But, yes. Should be rectified to as new condition as part of the repair under warranty.

  Thanks for your replies. Vans only days old; photo's sent to dealer. They've been good so far so hoping it will be treated as a warranty issue.
