One of the previous comments listed in that link stated:

1) 12v tools are not up to the task unless it's going to be used as a cordless screwdriver into soft materials.
2) Ni-Cad batteries are notorious for degrading over time (especially when not looked after).
3) The plastic chucks on these will inevitably quit before the motor… no chuck means no drill."
Cant comment as have no idea, but am curious for the suggestions on others on what one should buy for basic use only. Should we wait for a Ozito PXC 18V Kit to go on sale (Bunnings?)? Or go brushless? Or just pay someone to do the job as I will likely stuff it up myself … :-)
