  • Is an OLED twice as good…..?

    • Probably not…

    • +1

It’s not twice as good but it’s also the best picture quality there is.

  • +1

So many options, really confused which one to get :(

  • Doesnt appear to have HDMI 2.1 or VRR for Ps5?

    • You'll need to pay a grand or two extra for that. The LG C1 posted above has all that I believe.

Note • If the device connected to Input Port also supports HDMI Deep Colour, your picture may be clearer. However,
if the device doesn’t support it, it may not work properly. In that case, change the TV’s [HDMI Deep Colour]
      setting to off.

Unlike higher-end LG TVs, most sizes of this TV don't support Dolby Vision. The 86 inch model is the only size that does, and it also appears to have two HDMI 2.1 ports, unlike the other sizes which have three HDMI 2.0 ports

This TV supports most of the base features of the PS5 and Xbox Series X, but as it's limited to a 60Hz refresh rate and doesn't support HDMI 2.1, most sizes can't display a 4k @ 120Hz signal from either console. The 86 inch model is a bit of an exception, as it appears to have two HDMI 2.1 ports, and should be able to display a 4k @ 120Hz signal from the recent consoles. Unlike higher-end LG TVs, it doesn't support Dolby Vision. It also has an 'Auto Low Latency Mode' that automatically switches the TV into Game Mode when a game from a compatible device is launched, ensuring the lowest input lag possible. Like many 4k @ 60Hz TVs, the Xbox Series X thinks that it supports 1080p @ 120Hz, but when selected it simply ignores and skips every second frame.

  • 100 refresh rate sounds low

  • This in 55inch or the U7G 55inch?

  • Model: 75NANO75TPA

86-inch version $2,688. The NANO75TPA is a step or two down from the NANO91TPA

I have the 75 inch nano86, and local dimming is bad. Good in a bright room.

    • Does that mean not so good in a darker room?

      • Yeah pretty bad in a darken room

Wish they'd put the Sony 50" X90J on sale… I know the 55" is the same price but require the 50" for my purposes

  • How would the LG Nano75 compare to the Hisense U7G - both are around the same price on sale currently.
Hisense seems to have Full Array Local Dimming and Dolby Vision — but is the LG considered a better quality brand?

  • I was looking at the LG Nano86 55" for playing @120fps on the Xbox Series X.

Yesterday on JB HIFI it was listed for $1595… Today it is $1895… is the $300 mark up to balance their profits for upcoming Black Friday discounts?

    • JB said that different tvs go on special on different days.. black friday is a 2 week sale not one day.

      • This was not marked as "on sale" on either of the days though. And you know 90% of people will be buying between Black Friday - Cyber Monday.

  • Tempting. How would this TV's picture look in a darker room? Not much direct sunlight in our bigger lounge.

    • Like any TV I think the darker the room the better. Light is your enemy.

  • How does this tv compare to samsung q60A? 75inch - $1975 at samsung education store.

  • If you get JB to agree to a price match can you pay with gift cards ?

  • How does the 86" compare with the 85" Samsung [UA85AU8000WXXY]. The Samsung can be purchased for just under 2.4k via the Samsung EPP Portal + $50 Newsletter Code.
I have had a look on google and can't seem to make up my mind.

  • Anyone own it and vouch for it? Not sure if its worth the price?
