  • $1785 here (not as good as topbuy but it seems like a local store) http://shop.bestdeal4u.com.au/service_list/id/24/n/Affordabl… not as a big of a discount as it seems.

  • so basically $400 premium just to get local warranty vs importing it

    • Asus has 2 years global warranty. Some are 1 year global when sold in Aus

      Who are dealworkz??? sounds dodgzy

      • Also the Asus Zenbook UX31E-RY018V with the exact same specs is $1699 at MSY.

Good Guys. $1130 pay cash, $1580 with 256Gb SSD. No haggling even needed.

    • Do Good Guys still consider EFTPOS as cash? or we talking hard cash?

    • You know there are different models, right? E.g.

      $986 ASUS Zenbook UX21E-DH52 - Intel i5-2467M, 4GB DDR3, 128GB SSD
      $1158 ASUS Zenbook UX31E-DH52 - Intel i5-2557M, 128GB SSD, 4GB DDR3
      $1121 ASUS Zenbook UX21E-DH71 - Intel i7-2677M Dual Core, 128GB SSD, 4GB DDR3
      $1490 ASUS Zenbook UX31E-DH53 - Intel i5-2557M, 256GB SSD, 4GB DDR3
      $1663 ASUS Zenbook UX31 - Intel i7-1.8Ghz, 256GB SSD, 4GB DDR3

      • You know the ones you've posted are are American models, right? :)

          Irrelevant. The point is, you can't compare an 11.6" i5 to a 13.3" i7.

It should be noted that Gen 2 of Zenbooks are due to come out in May (remaining at the same price), ultimately pushing the price of Gen 1 models down.

      BH kick ass!
Bought a E-reader from them, fast delivery, no issues at all and it is STILL cheaper even after almost 6 months, local want $180+ for it, got it for $99…

Asus have global warranty on many laptops and some peripherals (only SOME), I don't see a reason to pay $1666 when you can get same/better for less.

    • you will have to pay GST because over $1000

      • Are you sure you need to pay GST on computers?

        • +1

Yes you do + a gay customs fee as well.

These guys seem totally dodgy, and their "terms" are in breach of the CCA.
    * 1 Year warranty is offered by Asus and not Dealworkz
    * No refunds or returns allowed.

"Contact Us" page leads to nothing but a web form, no contact details of any sort.
If they're not a scam, they're trying hard to look like one
