About LUNALAE

In 2016, founder Fion became aware there was a gap in the market for fashion-forward garments in the pole dancing industry. Merging her background in fashion design and a passion for pole dance, Luna Pole Wear was born.

After much success within the pole dance industry, Fion decided there was room for growth, hence the expansion and birth of Lunalae. Lunalae has its sights set on expanding its range to looks you can wear outside of pole, such as lingerie and activewear. As well, Lunalae will continue to focus on providing versatile, fashion-forward outfits tailored to the pole industry, designed to be worn from class to the stage.

  • "sustainable polewear?" WTF?

    • A little hat and jacket for your "pole", it's a new trend.

    • +2

polewear = gymnastics wear for pole "dancing" classes (really more gymnastics).
The clothing is pretty much just reworked swimwear, using maybe slightly different material and cuts.

  • +3

Do they get more use out of them if the pole is small?
Just asking for a friend. :)

Well done for using 'real life' women with curves and not super-slim non-fat size 8 sticks as the models.

    Real world attractiveness, nicely done.

    • +2

I agree, but you really could have worded that better without dragging down skinny/toned size women. Skinny, less curved women are real and attractive too.

      • -6

        omg.

Yes, because skinny beautiful size 8 women are so clearly under-represented and undervalued in our society. Wait here while I get you a tissue.

THE POINT is that most intimate apparel is very much advertised with young skinny women, and it was nice to fuller figured women featured as well.
Never did I say that skinny women were not attractive.
        Get a grip.

Dude, quit getting defensive when you're asked to do better.
YOUR PROBLEM is pitting different body types against each other, as if someone's attractiveness is measured relative to another. The point of representation isn't dragging down someone else to uphold another.

          • @lyl-Lychee: Hahaha…. yeah righto. I'm 'defensive' because of your needless and pointless attack.
Making a huge argument out of absolutely nothing. I bet you're awesome to live with in real life. Great job!

"My problem" is people being argumentative just because of their own perceived inadequacies.
But good on you for sticking up for the skinny models. Those poor darlings, shunned and outcast, unable to get work anywhere :).

I look forward to your next reply hyperventilating needlessly.

            • @UFO: So you're gonna convince yourself "wah wah, there's no way I made a problematic statement! The person calling me out must just be insecure! There's no problem with me negging/making backhanded comments" huh?

You know, I'm all for the end goal of wider representation as well. But your logic getting there is terribly off, in a way most women (skinny or curvy) wouldn't appreciate.

You seem to have spent a lot of time looking through their photos!
