Happy Pending Easter everyone!

We're taking 15% off all business cards until after easter. While they're not quite sweet, chocolatey easter eggs that will melt on the tip of your tongue, squish on your car seat and end up smeared over the face of any juniors in the area, their papery goodness may come in handy after the Easter holiday bloat.

Deal is available until 11.59pm Monday 4 April.

This includes the custom design options that are available on the form, too, so if you need new business cards, this is for you too.

Is there an option, like on VistaPrint, to easily create a new custom form?

And is this price for both-sided print?

    • Hi Movieman,

This is for everything under the business card umbrella, so yes it's for double sided, or laminated card, or whatever options you choose on that page.

Unfortunately we don't have online "templates" like vistaprint does, however we do have a standard business card template we can drop your info into if you like - just select "make me a standard business card" under "graphic design required. I must warn that it will cost $63.75, normally $75 but it's covered by the 15% discount too.

      Cheers!

      Jared

      • (apologies for the delay in getting back to you - for some reason I couldn't post)

      • Hi Jared,

So the $63.75 is ON TOP OF the cost for the actual cards??

What's the most economical way for me to 'do it yourself', with the template/design?

        Any program recommendations?

        • +1

          Hey Movieman,

Yup, unfortunately it is. It's pretty easy to do yourself if you've got a bit of time and the right program. Basically you can use any graphics layout program that allows you to set the width and height of the graphics window in millimeters, or there abouts. This includes Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop, plus Microsoft Publisher and Word. If you would like templates for any of those, just drop us an email at [email protected].

When setting up, all you need to do is make sure that your graphics area is 3mm wider on all sides (6mm all up) than what you want to end up with. So for a 90mm x 55mm business card you should have your template set at 96mm x 61mm. This extra 3mm is called "external bleed", and all bold colours and graphics should extend to this edge. On top of that, you also need to keep all important text 3mm from where the cards will be cut - this is the "safety margin".

It's easy enough once you get into it, and it's always nice throwing your own cards together - more creative control. We offer the options above for those who just can't do it, or who want something more creative than they feel they can put together.

          Cheers!

          Jared

I wanted to provide some positive feedback, from my business card prints with AQP. Jared from support, provided excellent customer service and made sure my design was correct, down to the last details, BEFORE printing. They price matched, and delivered on time. Print Quality.. excellent!

This is how an Australian Business should operate in tough times. Unlike a very bad experience I had with 1print, who were absolute rubbish in all aspects and delivered cards that were illegible, bad quality and NO support at all.

Would Recommend….A+.. post more deals here…

    • Hey Cartman,

Thanks for the feedback, and we're glad you like the business cards!

      Have a great week,

      Jared
