  • Nice, thanks OP.

Cheaper than when ALDI have their own brand, this one seems to have good reviews.

  • how does this compare with Seasol?

    • I was interested in this also. Amgrow products are sold at Bunnings (unfortunately not this one) and the customer reviews seem to be overall positive,
and similar to Seasol. So I'm going all in and buying 2 bottles. It's from Tasmania so it's gotta be good!!

Price wise, Bunnings has Seasol at $13.50 for 2 x 2L. In terms of quality, dunno. But Seasol always does the job for me.

    • +1

      That's the diluted product.

This is concentrate though. 2L seasol concentrate is $21.45.

    • +1

Yours one is hose on and OP one is concentrate.

  • +1

Ah OK, thanks for pointing that out.

  • Already all gone :(

  • +2

1 litre still available for a decent price

    • Thanks, grabbed that one

Not cheaper than this Amazon deal, but this stuff is what I use.

    https://www.plantdoctor.com.au/seaweed-secrets-concentrated-…

Although haven't looked at what rate per 100sqm is for this Amazon product.

    • Agree, plant doctor stuff is hard to beet. Highly recommended.

FYI this deal is still a lot more costly than this incredibly overlooked product from Bunnings:
    https://www.bunnings.com.au/eco-organic-garden-600g-eco-seaw…

    1 pack does 6600m2 - so $4.71/1000m2

Whereas this listed deal does 1125m2 - which is nearly half as cost efficient at $8.84/1000m2

Personally I find the powdered one easier to store and dispense - exactly the same product so why pay nearly twice as much - for as the makers themselves say, just pre-added water? :-)

    • +1

Totally agree. I've got a powdered product aswell and it's so much cheaper

It’s annoying these and many of the other listed products don’t provide the N/P/K data.

Hard to compare products when info isn’t provided

    • Seaweed isn't a fertiliser, it's a soil amendment. I'm not even sure they'll have npk data.

    • Npk is only for fertiliser. Seasol isn't a fertiliser (it's a plant tonic)

You might want to look at powerfeed which has Npk rating.

  • +1

    Got the 1L ($6.45) - thanks OP!

  • I've always used the 4l.Powerfeed concentrate for plants and Veges.

  • You SOB Amazon! I ordered 2 yesterday @$16. I just had to get another 3 at this price (I have a few plants 😆)

Can confirm this stuff works well. Or seems to since I started using it a few weeks ago.

    • You can use it for the lawn too.
