Samsung LS01T 43" The Serif QLED 4K TV (2020) $895 (Save $300) C&C /+ Delivery @ JB Hi-Fi / Harvey Norman

210

Long time listener, first time caller.

Been waiting for "The Serif" to go on sale and this is the cheapest I've personally seen it. The 55" seems to be on sale as well across multiple retailers.

Purchased as a furniture piece rather than for the specs, but to this layman, the viewing experience still delivers. We picked it up at Harvey Norman as we couldn't find any stock at JB Hi-Fi.

Additional $50 off from Samsung with newsletter sign up. Includes free delivery!

Prefer the Frame 🖼 the Serif gives a look at me im a cultured art gallery frequenter and im super sophisticated, you don’t understand finer things in life, thats why my serif will be housed in a repurposed factory loft - type vibe

    • Prefer the frame as well.
Not sure who the target audience is for the Serif.

    • RatBargain get's it.

I've even rotated the TV, hiding the ungodly screen that distracts visitors from the true beauty of its profile. Ɪ.

    • What is the audio like? If it's not that good it would be hard to find a soundbar whose design doesn't clash with the look of the TV

      • Audio is tinny on the 43

Man, that disclaimer on one of the pictures does not sit well with me.

The product design not affecting product performance may vary by region.

  • Not that the OP asked, but it’s my duty as a OzB and rat to provide an unsolicited opinion

  • Thanks for sharing! Welcome :)

  • It has been cheaper in the past - https://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/628875 - but that deal is long gone now, as is Openshop as a whole!
