glowstix047 on 06/04/2012 - 15:18 ¶Site is down…
edit: nvm back up.
On average, how long will it take for delivery if the item is located in Sydney and being delivered to Sydney?
-1 votedigitalaxon on 06/04/2012 - 15:35 ¶This will go rather nicely with my IXUS 115HS that I bought last week courtesy of this site… And to think I paid almost $60 for a 32gb microsdhc (class 10 however) only a few months ago!
garratt torlesse on 06/04/2012 - 16:24 ¶so u can view the photos on a tablet or phone while u are out and about
digitalaxon on 06/04/2012 - 18:19 ¶I think getting a micro version is a better investment long term — you can use it in a phone (which is where my lexar is) or tablet device, or use an adapter and use it as a full size sdhc card in ones digital camera..or as a USB stick with one of those microsdhc readers…
Also I haven't seen any 32gb cards at that price recently — cheapest I've seen was $30 at big W catalog…
Regardless of size, sandisk (original) at that price for that capacity is hard to pass up!
+1 voteAgreed - the small size + adapter(s) does give you more choices in the future, but Class 4 may be too slow for many modern, or future, digital cameras if you wish to achieve maximum burst rates or high bit rate video…
Class 4 is already too slow for some modes on my current Sony camera, so this particular deal wouldn't be a "better investment long term" for me personally…
But as I say, the logic of it being "multi-purpose" is not something I will argue against ;-)Overall though, it is a great deal for an Android device, etc :-)
GreatWhiteHunter on 06/04/2012 - 16:02 ¶I'd really like my 2 x 32gb USB 3.0 flash drives which havent arrived nearly a full week after I paid for them.
Sydney to Sydney delivery certainly seems to be taking a long time….
+1 voteI am interested in this deal but the incredible amount of negative comments regarding Shopping Square in other posts makes me nervous about clicking the "Buy" button :-(
It makes you wonder if they are just going to keep your money and then send the cards when the normal price of the MicroSDHC cards drops to that price everywhere ;-)
+4 votesryantan1121 on 06/04/2012 - 16:27 ¶I bought 4 batteries from them at 12th March and it's not yet arrive, so disappointed with their services.
+2 votesbonvivantau on 06/04/2012 - 21:45 ¶I paid for the Samsung Galaxy Note a few weeks ago. I still have not received the phone yet. Shopping Square is not trustworthy.

That comment of mine isn't even relevant to this deal. Not sure HOW it could possibly have been posted here, I must have stuffed up LOL
It should be on http://www.ozbargain.com.au/node/67369 :-D
+8 votesDon't Pay: $199.00 Our Price: $22.95 GST Inc. Save: $176.05(88%)
Are they out of their mind? Where did they see this price?
The same SD cards are being sold on e-bay at between $24.85 and $29 delivered (about $20 excl. delivery).
This false advertising of so called discount on ShoppingSquare website deserves a very big neg and should be reported to the Office of Fair Trading. Unless they are able to show where it sells for $199.
I beleived they are clearing all the stocks as new Samsung 16GB cards will offer a maximum sequential read speed of 80MB/s, which is quite a jump compared to the current high-end cards that are only capable of 21MB/s read speeds. http://www.androidpolice.com/2012/04/05/samsung-developing-m...
+6 votesUm, but we arent voting the deal because 24 from 200 is a great deal… we're voting the deal because its a decent price in its own right (duh). As for fair trading - its important that people know their rights in relation to advertising and promotion - I seriously doubt you know yours bob…
SirFlibbled on 07/04/2012 - 09:51 ¶Bought. With the $8 credit I had from a Cruzer sale they had a while back, $16 delivered is a bargain.

Ken_ZomgWtfBbq on 07/04/2012 - 14:22 ¶Will I be able to record full hd videos using this on my phone?

I assume Ken meant that read/write limitations may cause issues with FullHD recording (the filesizes are quite large and hence you'd need to write quite a lot of data per second).
If it does turn out to be too slow, my expectation is that recording to internal phone memory and then transferring it may be a possible solution.
+3 votesThis thread on XDA suggests the Sandisk Class 4 will be fine. I did a bit of digging as this is a question I wanted to know the answer to as well.

Suffice to say I'll be buying one of these. Apparently these class 4 cards are one of the best options available. Big thumbs up after researching this further.

+1 voteMy old Sandisk class 4 16GB (bought from MSY) got this:
Writing speed: 5.10 MByte/s
Reading speed: 20.9 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4My new Sandisk class 4 32GB (this deal) got this:
Writing speed: 4.15 MByte/s
Reading speed: 20.7 MByte/s
H2testw v1.4About 20% slower in writing speed. I have a 1GB ext4 partition on it for Apps2SD on my HTC Desire running Villain_Au 3.3U1 and I have noticed that since switching to the 32GB card, the phone is much less responsive. Of course, could be a number of other factors at play… Switching from the 16G to the 32G was such a painful process (first time) that I'm not quite prepared yet to switch back to see if it improves things.
