  • Does anyone have a comparison between these and the Logitech G432s which are on sale for the same price?
I was hoping for a good deal on some wireless ones but the deals don't seem forthcoming this year

I own a HyperX Cloud II Wireless which is top of the range but to my experience, here are some comparisons…

      Sound:
      - Both have 50mm Drivers, don't know much else rather than that.

      Frame/Build
      - Logitech G432 is mostly plastic with a single strip of metal running through the top band.
      - HyperX Cloud Pro is mostly aluminium with plastic earcups and a foam band at the top.

Reviews on the internet out of the gate say that the HyperX Cloud is more comfortable because of these two aspects.

Connectivity is where the Cloud Pro is a bit weird, I think the G432's are USB with a 3.5mm attachment whereas the Cloud Pro's come with two cables: a mic/audio combination jack & a mic + audio jack separated. This is subjective. I personally like USB since it becomes more multi-platform. That being said, I could still use the Cloud Pro's with a PS5 with the controller's audio jack.

Hope this helped. Visit the links above if you need more info. Always trying to help consumers make an informed decision.

      • HyperX Cloud II Wireless which is top of the range

Top of the HyperX range, maybe, which isn't exactly setting the world on fire these days.

The lower end of mid-fi audio gear overlaps with the mid and upper-tier gaming headset options, that the excuse of wanting a built-in mic is pretty flimsy.

Get a headphone with good detail and imaging that isn't horrible in tonality, replace the pads every few years, enjoy your life instead of chaining through crap headsets for 8-10 years.

    • Looks like 'pro' in name doesn't really mean much other than colour difference and maybe usb soundcard attachment?

Anyways closest comparison I could find:

      • Don't think the Pro has USB connectivity either. But that can be a good thing - 3.5mm is generally more versatile since you can connect it to a switch without losing a USB port etc. Would personally go for the HyperX purely due to build quality (which means longevity) but that's probably due to my own bias of owning a HyperX product.

Thanks for the help guys! Really appreciated :)

  • Good deal, been needing to upgrade for a while, ever since the MSY deal all those boxing days ago, this is the best so far.

    • That's were I got my cloud 2's a couple years back too! Thought it was time for the new model as mine have finally started wearing out
