      ECE 2205 has been legal in all states in Australia since 2016 AFAIK? Is AS 1698 a safer standard?

        I dont believe so.
        It's just that AS certified helmets are certified by the importer specifically for the AU market. Anything else are grey imports.

          ECE overrides AS because australia is too lazy to do any of its own certifications. There are no more AS stickers. If you find anything that does, that helmet is over 5 years old.

        No. ECE are not grey imports.

      Yes, these are all ECE 22.05 approved.
