Useless plastics for the landfill, I highly recommend people not to take these rubbish home.

    • Dangerous choke hazard as well

    • I have heard some customers of Coles/Woolies had been collecting every single collectables they put on

There's never a shortage of idiot consumers.

That's definitely true mate, no shortage of dumbed shopping catalogues, trolley wipes, half eaten Free fruits (at least at woolies for kids), and so much other rubbish in trolleys as clear evidence of this. Apart from those rude Karens etc.

      • It will no doubt become landfill years down the track when the hype subsides.

More plastics that will go into landfill and rivers and oceans.

Please stop supporting business's that offers this type of promotions. It's a trick to get you to spend more money and that is it. You are not getting anything free.

All these major retailers offering 'Collectables' should start dipping their toes into NFT's and offer them instead, meaning less landfill, less plastic production and it's following the current trend. Offer a marketplace for people to sell and trade them so they can 'Collect them all'

generate a different kind of pollution!

  • Im sure I've seen news stories where customers get into fights over these or accuse staff of hogging the sets before customers can get them and selling the complete sets on eBay for hundreds of dollars.

  • Landfill :/

  • Most rubbish items end up in landfill. Most people can't comprehend how simple recycling bins work.

What would Greta say about this?

So they ban plastic straws which actually serve a function and are superior to paper straws but allow business to produce pieces of plastic to advertise brands but serve for practical function. Most of which will end up as landfill. Nope, no deal.

  • Shark. Jumped.

  • Epic

    plastic waste

  • Coles got bollocked for this carry on, SCA should too. Echo sentiments of everyone above - this is just shitty landfill.
