TIMTAMCOFFEEPARTY

Hey Oz Bargain Community,

This deal is to celebrate the launch of two things we're very excited about:

1) Our new featured rotating Single Origin coffee from São Paulo Brazil, I believe it's the best suited Single Origin for milk based coffee (hot and iced) we've ever featured. It's like a perfect tango the milk and coffee are independent but when they come together as a team they put on quite a show! That said it's still delicious as a black coffee

2) Our Tim Tam™ initiative AKA we'll send you a free Tim Tam™ with your order. Whether you're all about the Tim Tam™ Slam (fun fact, the TT Slam was invented in 1983) or you take 5 minutes to have a TT holiday, all we ask is that you use your TT time to plan on enjoying something you usually don't take the time to enjoy. It doesn't need to be time consuming or complicated. It can be as simple as watching a sunrise, smelling a fresh lemon/flower/anything that is grown (you'll be surprised of its impact if done in the absence of other distractions, it can be like smelling life in its purest form), enjoying a glass of tap water (when time's are a bit tough I always think to myself "well there's clean water in the tap, so don't even think about complaining"), enjoying lunch in a park rather than inside walls (Covid restrictions highlight how something this simple is special and not always a given to enjoy)…Doesn't matter what it is, my point is time goes so quickly especially in our digital world and I believe sometimes the best way to slow it down is to enjoy an analog moment. Now you could be saying what is this nonsense, stop complicating my TT moment haha that's fine too, I just know situations can change in the blink of an eye, people aren't around forever nor are your senses as sharp, so I say make the most of them while you have them and that's only guaranteed in this moment, tomorrow is the unknown…

Here's the deal highlights:

We're offering you a 40% discount only $25.19 per kg (usually $41.98 per kg) off our current incredible featured rotating Single Origin Coffee from São Paulo Brazil, plus you'll get a free Tim Tam™ :)

Some helpful info:

  • You're welcome to place multiple orders to make the most of this deal
  • Complimentary gift notes can be written in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page."
  • Delayed dispatch requests are welcome. In 2022 delayed dispatch orders will be dispatched on Friday's (there may be the odd exception e.g. public holiday may mean a Thursday), simply let us know when your ideal Friday dispatch date is by leaving us a note in the "special instructions for seller" box on the cart page. Don't worry delayed dispatch request orders will still receive a Tim Tam™ :)
  • If you select paypal express checkout on the product page you'll likely skip the order notes section, which is on the cart page (as mentioned above)
  • The discount price will show up after the "cart" stage of the ordering process AKA once you start entering in your delivery details
  • The largest bag size we use is 1kg and it has a zip (it's resealable), for example if you order 4kg with 1kg packaging you will receive 4*1kg bags, you will not receive a single huge 4kg bag. 500g bag packing is available for an extra $3.60 per kg including the discount (normally $6 extra per kg) to cover the extra bag/s, label/s and time it takes to pack

Is this any good? Always seen it but never bought it.

    • +1

I am not a coffee expert but yes, their coffee is really good(tried just Colombia Single Origin so far but Surprise Mystery Flight on the way), one of the best(if not the best) available on OzBargain. On top of that, their customer service is exceptional!

    • +1

From one filo guy to another; yes pretty good. Value is obviously there but the coffee itself is excellent. Mind you I primarily have black coffee, but the occasional milk coffee is good too!

    • +2

We tend to be picky with our beans and we were never disappointed and as miruki said customer service is perfect.
I am glad we need more beans :)

    • +1

Yup. Bought 8kg last deal. Almost gone now. I’ve had to coarsen my grind significantly compared to my previous beans, a sign of the quality. I’m very, very pleased with it.

FYI, that’s like a kilo a week. I’m the adult in the house, so it’s only me and any guests I have that drink coffee lol. Excellent Cafe quality once you dial your machine in. They do give you a guide on the label to help you get it right also!

Spot on about the bonus free Tim Tam per order. Each Tim Tam is individually wrapped, so hopefully it won't be "crushed," I've sent a few to myself as a test and all arrived perfectly. I know it may seem like what's all the fuss about a free Tim Tam, but it's just an extra bonus rather than a fuss and 1 free Tim Tam is better than 0 free Tim Tams. The single paragraph is just there to simply explain what our Tim Tam™ initiative is as this is its launch this test run. People can simply enjoy the Tim Tam without reading that paragraph if they want, some may enjoy the idea of the paragraph and some may opt to avoid sugar so this heads up means those people can ask us not to send them any Tim Tams :)

      • +10

Honestly got a good chuckle out of "1 free Tim Tam is better than 0 free Tim Tams".
        Hard to argue with that…

        • +3

I believe it's the original OzBargain motto.

      • +3

How many Tim Tams were injured in this response?

      • +1

You could have sent them to me "as a test" ;)

  • Choosing 2 x 500g bags adds $6 to the price of a single 1Kg bag.

Caught me out so he to backtrack from checkout.

    • Appreciate you reaching out!

"The discount price will show up after the "cart" stage of the ordering process AKA once you start entering in your delivery details," once you see the discount applied the $6 will become $3.60 :)

  • Would this be good for V60 pour over?

    • +1

      Great question!

We omni roast to suit both espresso and filter style, so this terrific SO works really well for Pour Over-had one for brekkie this morning :)

      • thanks ordered 2kg worth lol

        • Woohoo that's wonderful to hear, thank you so much for placing such a terrific order, it really does mean so much!!!

  • Hi LimeBlueCoffee, what grind should I pick for cold brew? Options are 'Ground Filter' and 'Ground Espresso' only

    • Nice double check!

"Ground Filter" and an order note comment saying "Cold Brew" is the ticket for you :)

  • +1

    Best coffee
    Best service

    Tim you're a legend

    • +2

Uh oh, Tim Tams appear to now have people confusing Tom with "Tim" :)

      • Tim Tam Tom

      • I thought his name was Tam and was Scottish…

    • Woot woot, music to my ears, thank you so much for that wonderful vote of confidence!!!

  • Regarding delayed dispatch - if I say choose a date 2-3 weeks away, when would the beans be roasted? How long does shipping take using $6.99 courier?

    • Great questions, better safe than sorry!

Think I'll initially be 1 for 2 with my answers haha

      1) We aim to dispatch our coffee nice and fresh without 48 business hours of roasting, so your delayed dispatch request would mean your coffee is roasted in Jan

      2) I know answering a question with a question isn't ideal. However, so I can narrow down an answer could you please let me know your rough location?

      • My location is metro Sydney

        • No promises, but the good stuff should get to in 24-48 business hours after dispatch :)

      • To piggy back off this… I’m the sole coffee drinker in the house so it goes slowly. Say I go 4kg of 250g bags with delayed dispatch. Do I pay $6.99 per bag?
        @limebluecoffee

        • Nice piggy back move replying to the most recent reply from us :)

To clarify I'm guessing you intend to order 8*500g bags AKA 4kg in 500g packaging?

You're almost on the money, it's $6.99 flat rate per dispatch as opposed to $6.99 per bag, it's up to you how many bags you'd like each dispatch to contain.

Please let me know if you have any more questions :)

  • +1

Tried a bunch of coffee suppliers and this is the one I'm sticking with. Not only great product but incredible customer service. Thanks LimeBlueCoffee!

    • WOW that's such wonderful feedback to receive, thank you truly for your most appreciated feedback and orders!

I'm wrapped to know we won your taste test trials :)

  • Bought some this morning before this deal was posted. Thought it was worth a shot since I liked the last SO. Cheers

    • I'd ask for your TT, if I was you.

    • Thank you so much for placing another order with us, it's truly appreciated, fingers crossed this SO is a winner for you :)

      • It is great. Waiting for the next offer to order some more!

        • WOOHOO that's wonderful to hear, thanks for that terrific feedback!

Sounds fantastic, hold tight, we're currently planning our next deal, likely launching in the next week or two :)

  • Really like their coffee.. ordering some more!

    • Fantastic, your feedback and continued orders are so appreciated, thank you!

  • Tim Tom delivers again ! Ordered yesterday to tie into the frequent buyers club starting in feb.

    • Nice opener, has a good ring to it :)

Love the tie over order, thank you so much for another terrific order and if I haven't already said it welcome to the Club!

  • I bought this deal yesterday, I previously asked Tom could I be cheeky and get a deal that ended the previously day. He was extreamly kind and agreed, great coffee, brilliant service.

    • Woohoo, thank you so much for the repeat orders, they're really do mean so much!

I'm wrapped to know we're in your good books, we'll keep working hard to stay there, thanks heaps for sharing such great feedback :)

  • So, incredible white but what you’re saying OP is that if you drink black it’s still nice but that isn’t where it shines and therefore better off choosing another if you like your coffee without milk?

    • +4

Hmm I may need to work on my wording, so I've very happy you reached out!

It's delicious with or without milk. I had it as a black filter coffee for brekkie this morning and it was terrific (without sounding too biased). My wording is just trying to highlight that I think this is the best SO we've ever offered in terms of pairing/cutting through milk. If it wasn't also delicious for black coffee, I'd say something like "only suited for white/milk based coffees" :)

      • +2

Thank goodness, someone who knows how to spell the diminutive of breakfast. I hate seeing it spelled "Breaky". I get all achy.

        • :)

  • Cheers OP, ordered a kg.

    • Awesome, thank you so much, your order is sincerely appreciated!

  • Timing continues to align perfectly with me running out of my last batch of your coffee. Can't wait :)

    • Nice to hear, love it when we nail the timing, hard to get it perfect for everyone, it's a work in progress…

We really appreciate your continued orders, thank you so much!

  • So given there are two great deals at the moment - this and the airjo Sumatra, what does Ozbargain recommend for a newbie with a shiny new espresso machine?

    • +1

I've tried both and prefer Lime Blue. Mind you, I do stovetop and have my coffee with milk

      • Haven’t tried this new Brazillian SO but compared to the columbian SO from last deal to airjo enterprise. This one was more memorable. I drink both milk and espresso

  • I've tried both and prefer this one

  • I'm normally an airjo guy, but I'll give this a shot.

  • Hi Tom, is the filter grind the best option for Aeropress?

    • Spot on, that'll be the winning choice for you :)

      • Just flicked you an email regarding my order, cheers!

        • +1

Got it and replied, thanks heaps again :)

  • Ordered one based on the reviews here! Excited to try the coffee in my new Sunbeam mini barista coffee maker!

    • Congrats on the new setup :)

Glad your excited to try Lime Blue for the 1st time, thank you so much for placing your 1st order with us, it really does mean a lot and is an opportunity we won't take for granted!

  • Thanks Op. Ordered a kg.

    • Terrific, thank you so much, it's truly appreciated!

  • Hi OP what is your recommended espresso brew recipe for this batch - contact time and ratio?

    • +2

Lime blue print the ratio on the label on the bag so it will be there when you receive it

      • @CrazySurfaNZ you're 2 for 2, spot on with another helpful answer, you're on fire, thanks heaps once again :)

  • Thanks OP. I'll give it a go with my BDB! Ordered some.

    • Pretty sure the smart grinder uses the same settings as my oracle, in which case start off with 27 and dial in from there. I used to need 14 to get a reasonable crema on previous beans

    • Wonderful, thank you so much for giving us a shot, really does mean a lot :)

  • Hi Tom, how often will you be running deals like this? I would love to try this coffee but I have about 2kg of coffee from other deals to get through!
Ps love your focus on customer service, pretty rare these days.

    • +1

      Alternatively use the delayed dispatch?

      • Yeah, I was thinking that, but would be a bit hard to time it. 2kg can last me anywhere from 2 to 6 months. Depending on visitors, working from home, need to be fully functioning at work….

        • +1

Hey @Tanath it's music to my ear to know you're keen to give us a shot and that you "love (our) focus on customer service," we'll keep working hard to further improve the Lime Blue Coffee experience because at the end of the day without you (customers) we cease to exist!

Speaking of customer service, we're fairly flexible, so you're welcome to make the most of this deal today by placing your order/s with a request for a delayed dispatch; just place your max ideal dispatch date and if you're getting low before then you can simply send us an email saying "getting low, please dispatch my fresh coffee as soon as you can."

Otherwise, you're welcome to wait for a future deal, but I can't guarantee this exact deal will be offered again, so it'll be a roll of the dice type situation if you wait for a future deal :)

      • Love the input @CrazySurfaNZ, really appreciate your answer assistance while I keep searching for that 25th hour in the day :)

  • Thanks OP, bought one. Just wondering when are you going to ship this? I chose Shipit as preferred postie.
I wonder how long does it take to Melbourne since i am running super low at the moment
    Cheers

    • Morning :)

Awesome, thank you so much for the order, it's so appreciated!

We dispatch on a rolling basis. A good amount of orders were dispatched yesterday, so if you haven't received an email with tracking info yet then your order will be dispatch early in the coming week and should hopefully arrive within 24-48 hours of dispatch. What suburb are you in (feel free to direct message me the answer)?

Fingers crossed the good stuff arrives before you need to start searching for the coffee panic stations button :)

      • Owh no, missed the early shipping then 😢
        3029 Victoria.
Hopefully i wont need to go to woolies or coles to buy some panic beans.

        ORDER #10021

        Cheers

        • Glad to see the good stuff got to you on the Wednesday, only 1 day after dispatch (as delivery companies were closed for the PH on Monday). Hope you liked the random 1st order surprise :)

  • Any chance ona deal for 500g? I’m very interested in your frequent flyers deal but wanting to try the coffee first. 1kg is just too much for me - but the time I get to the final 3rd the beans are past their best I find

    • +1

There's a number of reasons we currently have a 2x500g option and not a 1x500g as well for this Single Origin deal. The main issue is I haven't perfected the art of cutting a Tim Tam in half, one half always seems a bit bigger and also whenever I open a Tim Tam it seems to vanish in the blink of an eye… haha just pulling your leg :)

I do appreciate the time you've taken to reach out and you'd be a most welcome Member to our Frequent Buyers Club, so I'll figure out a way to make your request a reality. Please send a DM or email to [email protected] and we'll figure out the details from there…

p.s. I don't want to be labeled The Tim Tam Grinch, so you'll get a full Tim Tam and after than I'll start working on perfecting my humour haha :)

  • Thank you just ordered 2kg

    • +3

WOW that's terrific, your order means so much to us, thank you!

I'd normally say "fingers crossed you love our coffee," but given your Oz B username I have my fingers crossed on both hands this time haha :)

  • How does the taste of this compare with the moments to memories blend?

    • +1

I like your thinking, nice pick to compare!

This one is a bit more towards the chocolate end of the coffee flavour scale than Moments. If you're a fan of Moments then I'd be astounded if you didn't also enjoy this terrific SO as well :)

      • Thanks. Ordered a kg :)
Just wondering though, do you recommend a fine or coarse grind for these beans?

        • Fantastic, thank you so much, it means a lot to the team!

Just so I can point you in the right direction could you please let me know what equipment you use to make coffee? If you emailed and I replied recently then there's no need to respond to this message :)

  • Ordered a bag with delayed dispatch. Thx!

    • Love it, thank you so much for the order, it truly means so much!

  • I’ve found some coffee gives me heartburn. Arabica beans don’t. Just wondering if you know if your beans don’t cause heartburn? I really LOVE coffee and hate decaf so hoping to find one that suits me.

    • Thanks for taking the time to reach out!

hmmm that's no good, we can't have that. Good news is we only have Arabica coffee not Robusta :)

I'll get my Sherlock hat on to try and help solve the mystery heartburn before I get to recommendation/s…few questions:
      1) Is the heartburn caused right after your first coffee or more than half an hour after your first coffee?
      2) Is the heartburn after your 1st coffee or after a few coffees?
      3) Do you have a coffee the minute you wake up or wait a little while e.g. 45 minutes after you wake up you have a coffee?
      4) Are the beans oily/very dark/bitter when you get heartburn?
      5) Are the beans light/quite acidic when you get heartburn?

  • Ordered a 1kg bag but i realised i have more coffee left than I thought. Is it possible for me to have it delayed by a couple of weeks?

    • Woohoo for another fantastic order through the online door, thank you so much, it's truly appreciated!

Sure thing, we'll make that happen for you. Simply send a reply email to your order confirmation email detailing your ideal dispatch date and we'll go from there :)
