Cashing out TAUD to Fiat - Is Liquidity an Issue?

Hi all, I am looking to purchase some of my current asset to Crypto.com to ATUD on Crypto.com for its 12% APY return.

But given the market cap for TAUD is rather small compare to other stable coins, I am a bit worried about its liquidity when it comes to sell them back to Fiat.

Has anyone ever done it again and how was it? Would you do it again in TAUD or you would simply get TUSD or USDC instead.
Another question is, would you split the amount into Crypto.com and Celsius??

Thanks!!

    Yes

  • I dont use crypto.com but looking at whats on offer the USDC at 10%+ is easily the best option that you have mentioned. Why deal with the lack of liquidity on TAUD if the same is avaliable on USDC.

    • But I will be facing the risk of losing on forex and AUD to USD rate isn't ideal atm….

  • I am a bit worried about its liquidity when it comes to sell them back to Fiat.

    TAUD has plenty of liquidity.

    • $32m and 252 holders is a rather small pool in my eyes, but I might be wrong.

Going. for TUSD or USDC will reduce the risk of liquidity to almost 0 but I will be facing the risk of currency volatility in the meantime.

        Crypto.com has 9M TAUD.

Are you swapping anything close to that?

        • Oh I thought it meant there are 9m TAUD staked with Crypto.com by their users.

Thanks a lot, this would clarify every worry I have

  • Go for it. No gain no pain,

Which Fiat are you buying? Pretty sure they only sell the 500 here now

    • Just a simple TAUD to AUD when I need to use the money

I havent has an issue yet for instant sale. Doing 25-30k at a time. I think USDC has fees.

    • Including TAUD to AUD transactions?
      That's great to know!

Yep. AUD to TAUD to earn to AUD always instant.

  • AUD -> TAUD -> AUD on crypto.com will be fine, and there are no fees.

There is a minimum of $400 for savings but that's it.

Oh and you have to pay income tax on the interest as you would in a bank, so create your account with a tax advantage if you can :D
