Seems like a good price for the Elegoo Saturn from my watch history. They generally average to $650/680 AUD so at $543.99 AUD i would call it a deal.
Does not come with resin.
Description:
【Faster printing speed】Saturn 3D printer comes with an 8.9inch 4K Monochrome LCD with an HD resolution of 3840 x 2400, reducing the layer printing time to 2s-3s, which is 60% faster than Mars Pro yet still delivers outstanding printing results.
【Larger build volume】Saturn has a large printing volume of 192120200mm/7.55in x 4.72in x 7.87in, and you can print multiple full-sized models at the same time, which can dramatically improve your productivity.
【Higher precision and easier printing】Z-axis utilizes a double linear guideway structure, which can achieve steadier motion and greatly enhanced moving accuracy. With the ethernet port on the back, Saturn now supports file transfer through your local area network, which is very handy for fast printing.
【Quality Prints and Consistent Success】Matrix light source consists of 54 UV LED lights with uniform light emission, ensuring superior print results and a more accurate printing size. The set screws on the build plate assure longlasting leveling, no need for frequent calibration, and the sandblasted surface provides a much stronger adherence, especially when printing large 3D models.
【Warranty and Privilege 】We provide a 1-year warranty on the whole printer (4K LCD, FEP film, and tool kit excluded). Replacement parts will be shipped from the overseas warehouse to offer you quality and fast customer service.

  • I am a big fan of my Mars Pro 2, the prints are amazing.
If the Saturn were available at the time I'd probably have spent the extra just for the larger build plate alone.

    • I got one on the previous lightning deal, comes in a couple days! Any tips?

Also, does that warranty look weird to anyone else? I'd assume it's be 2yrs and all parts, I didn't think you could exclude components?

      • the lcd and fep are consumables, so wouldn't be covered under warranty normally. that being said, elegoo support have been pretty fantastic at replacing lcd's due to user errors/mistakes in the past.

      • The FEP and the LCD are considered consumables (the LCD's will burn out over time - but that time is many 1000's of hours).
This is why they sell replacement screens (which are ~$90): https://www.amazon.com.au/ELEGOO-Saturn-4K-LCD/dp/B08PZ785YZ…

I have a Photon Mono from a sale here a few months ago. I absolutely love it and I’m hooked.
If you’re one the fence on a resin printer, grab it! The only downside is the mess and cleanup.

Same as above. Mess isn't too bad.

You also need to factor in costs for an ultrasonic cleaner, a few litres of IPA, resin, small funnel, paper towel and nitrate gloves.

Overall good investment. I'm happy with mine thus far.
