Was looking around for a switchbot to make some dumb appliances work easier especially the coffee machine.

Mydeal have this listed where next cheapest I can find is $49.
Another 10% off total if you spend over $39 at the Protec store items.
I paid roughly $68 total for 2.

Be mindful you will need the Switchbot hub mini if you want integration in your smart home via Google Home, Alexa, Smartthings and/or HA. Otherwise you are stuck using your phone to turn it on.
Cheapest I can see a hub is around $75 unfortunately at this time.

I think a good pick up if you already have the hub and grab a couple of these to go with it.

  I have one of these. You can control these from HomeAssistant directly if you have Bluetooth on your server. There's a bit of delay when triggering from HA and it's not overly reliable. YMMV.

      Its fairly strong. Just have to make sure that its mounted securely, otherwise it will push itself off the surface

    Your garage door opener should have terminals for a wired wall switch which can be connected to a wifi device. Ensure you get one with a sensor to tell if door open or shut

    I have one of these and I've been wondering this too. Surely the hub is just an IR or RF blaster, right? So can I just train my Broadlink RM Pro to do this somehow?

      I posted earlier but my comment seems to have disappeared. They're Bluetooth. If you run Home Assistant, you can use the Bluetooth in your server to drive it.
