  • This versus T5 or T7?

    • +3

The T5 is msata so it's more compact but not as fast (still good for like 300MB/s though).

The T7 is an nvme drive similar to the one in this deal and should be comparable speed, just get whichever is cheaper between the WD & the T7.

Funny enough you can't buy bare msata drives anymore so if you are on the market for one to upgrade an old device or for one to use in a micro PC similar to raspi (some use msata for whatever reason) it's best to get a T5 and then just open it to get the drive out.

      • Thanks, got the T7 for $152 off Amazon

T5 is SATA drive which can only do like 500-550MB/s, this one or T7 is defs better
