  • Do I need a second Instant Pot air fryer…just bought one from the previous deal…

    • I own 2 air fryers and haven't looked back…

Bought this last year and while it’s a very sturdy air fryer, my biggest complaint is that the temps are higher than they claim to be. Most of our cooking we have to set at 168 degrees otherwise they will burn as if they are above 200 degrees

    • thanks for that will keep this in mind when mine arrives

    • The InstantPot, itself, can be a bit hot when sautéing as well.

Bought one at Xmas to replace a well used phillips xl. It is very good and easy to clean. If I had the choice over this or another phillips xl I would buy the instapot.

Awesome, got one of the Philips xxl for double the price. Ordered this one just because you said it's good.

      • Pressure is on. Hope you agree.

    • how much difference in the cleaning as compared to the philips?
the philips "fan" area is very annoying to clean once you used it long enough.

    • How does this one compare capacity wise to the Philips XL/XXL models?

Considering a new air fryer from my Kogan 4.2L one which was our entry into the market and we use it a lot but wish it had more capacity.

I think this was the winner for americas test kitchen shoot out.

  • Awesome! Just ordered and it's coming today aswell.

  • Bought one, thank you!

  • These are the reheating king. Cold KFC from the fridge takes 40m to cook in an oven from cold, in this it takes 5m, same goes for pizza. I didn't buy the hype but it's deserved.

Been following the air fryer threads. I feel this is a decent price to jump in. I own the InstaPot pressure cooker and have been very happy there. Philips just seems over priced and the cheap ones a little too cheap.

  • Anyone know how these compare to the Vortex Oven? I note this one has a rotisserie function, but not sure how it compares in terms on cleaning, etc.

And curious if anyone has used either as a dehydrator.

  • Bought one - delivered today.

The purchase also enabled a free short term Amazon Prime membership which in turn entitled the purchase of a small echo show (5") for $35.

Tried the air fryer with a small frozen pizza as a test - cooked fine. Will use it for a proper meal tomorrow.
