Electrolux Ultra Active Bagless Vacuum Cleaner ZUA3860P $299 @ 2nds World Factory Seconds

70

Electrolux Ultra Active Bagless Vacuum Cleaner, ZUA3860P, is at 2nds World store for $299. It is listed as a Factory Second, so only comes with 1 year warranty (but extended 3 year is available for $79).

Even though it is a factory second, the one I bought was in sealed box with no cosmetic damage. (edited because as mentioned in comments, box could have been resealed)

I think electrolux have released a new model to replace it.

For those interested, Choice magazine tests for Expensive Vacuum cleaners (nov 2011) has this zua3860p model score the second highest for bagless/bin types. (dyson dc23 and electrolux zua3861p scored 82 each and zua3860p scored 80).

I think to get a high end vacuum cleaner on a cheap vacuum cleaner budget, this may be a good bargain.

  • The cheapest price I found for this model (not a factory 2nd) is $420 at 2nds world.

    • Are you a rep?
How do you know it is unopened box? It is a great deal. I am bit curious?

      • the $299 price is a factory 2nd according to their site. so i doubt it is in an unopened box. but really, who gives a shit - it's a vacuum cleaner after all. as long as it works :-)
edit: just realized you did mention the warranty already

        • if you not "gives a shit", "as long as it works", why dont you buy a $50 vacuum from Kamrt?!

      • no, I'm not at rep but have shopped often at this store. My old hoover is dying and I was looking at the dyson from amazon and also a miele model locally. Saw this instore today so I bought it. And yes, the box was sealed. I had asked the sales assistant about it and she said they all are sealed boxes.

        • their repair centers must seal them up when they are done with it. not bad.

        • you maybe right, could be the repair centre who's doing the sealing…

  • Got this vacuum cleaner at full price already, works well.

    • What are the filters like? Do they need constant cleaning? I've got a bagless LG, and the filters are crap … Always need cleaning..

  • For that much money, better to spend $100 more and get a brand new Dyson.

    • do you think so? i've got a dyson and while it does work well i don't think it is anything spectacular.
i think it is like apple mac vs. PC. you can buy a dyson and know it will work without researching it at all or you do a bit of research and most likely find something just as good if not better for less money the same way you can find great PCs for the fraction of the cost of a apple mac.

      • I also have a Dyson, and while suction is strong, I also do not find it spectacular. Certainly not what I would call 'designer' vacuum and would never pay AUS RRP ($900) for one.

But, apple mac is a different story, and worth every cent! :)

      • I rather have a bagless vacuum that does not rely on filters to separate out the dirt. My experience with that is really bad. The Dysons are the only ones that use centrifugal force. I don't think Dyson is simply a "designer vacuum" (frankly, I think they're ugly).

    • I have a dyson DC29 and my girlfriend has the non motor head one of these. In my opninion they are on a par. This is a good deal as it has the motorhead.

  • gee… expired already?!!
I just bought one from castle hill 2day and they seem to have had a lot of stock. But online does say it is sold out :/

    • +1

the deal is back - we were able to allocate some more stock to online.

      • Thats great rep! Ordered one already :)

Is there any chance that it can get shipped today - then I could get it tomorrow!?

        • please message me your order number and i will see what we can do

  • unexpired the deal. website shows its instock.

  • This vac is awesome!

  • now that I've used this vac a few times, it's great! huge improvement from the hoover bagless I had. I really liked my old werthiem but couldn't stand running out of bags at the most inconvienient time.
