Ozito Batteries on Dewalt Tools

Is anyone familiar with an adapter where I could use Ozito batteries on my DeWalt tools?

Something like this but at a more reasonable price:

  • ive got bosch to dewalt

but then I got a good deal on a Dewalt set that gave me 2 x 6Ah batteries for Dewalt so i don't use it seemed to work fine .. try aliexpress you'll have to do some digging to find an ozito equiv

  • lol $78 goes a long way to a genuine battery

i think maybe this thread might be a good springboard to adapters… there's 3d print but obvoiusly you need to be good with the tin snips to make contacts

  • Just design and 3d print your own

That's what I've done for Makita to ozito and toolpro to ozito.

Takes a few iterations but filament is fairly cheap.

And how much is a 3D printer?

      • +1

I bought one from a deal I saw in here for $199 delivered including 1kg of filament.

Designing and printing battery adaptors was one of the first things I printed on the machine.

I had no experience in 3d design or printing but it wasn't that hard to do with tinkercad

  • Wouldn't mind recommendations for a Makita to DeWalt adapter too. My mate keeps borrowing my charger, I'll buy him this instead
