Horrible deal. This has been down to like $900 on here before.

It's outdated now, the Ryzen 6000 series should be coming very soon. In the mean time you should buy the Gen3 if you need it soon-ish. I bolded the specifications that are better than the Gen2. The chassis and ports are the same.

    RIP OFF!!!! :D

  • Been looking for a laptop with all these features but I'm yet to find any
    USB-C charging and DP
SD Card Reader (full size card)
Touchscreen (does not have to be 2 in 1), IPS at least FHD and 300 nits.
16 GB Ram and at least 512 GB SSD
Less than 1.5 KG weight and 2000 dollars cost

    • Lenovo yoga x13 gen 2 can be configured to have all of the above except the SD card reader. Comes to around $1999 for 11th gen i7 / 16gb / 512 gb/ 1920 X 1200 IPS Touch 300 nits

Plus add https://www.lenovo.com/au/en/accessories-and-monitors/cables… for the SD card reader if it is absolutely a must to have.

      • Thanks, mate. I hate having to carry extarnal dongles with me that's why I wanted all of them built-in. I am now watching ideapad slim 5 pro AMD 14 inch to go on sale. Seems like this is the only laptop which has all I need. 2.2K IPS Touch Display 300 nits, 100% RGB, SD Card Reader, USB-C with PD and DP, 16GB + 512GB SSD, all for less than 1300 when on sale.

  • 250 is more than enough for most people…….

That's what I used to think.

In average to favourable conditions it can be adequate… but that's all.

Lenovo need to get their act together and not have a display available with less than 300 NITS.

Too many scenarios have popped up recently where an average display should have been sufficient… and was left wanting.

    1) On the table on the rear deck at mum and dad's place, fully covered and enclosed on 3 sides by extremely heavy wind, water, weather and sun resistant mesh that is almost a complete blackout. Was spring time and weather was overcast.
The ambient conditions should have been fine for a poor display, but this display is that poor that whilst usable it wasn't comfortably so.

    2) In bed with an east facing window, vertical blinds 1/2 closed in the afternoon (so sun on west side of house).
Suburban st with 1/4 acre blocks and no objects outside reflecting any significant light inside.
The ambient light coming side on from my right was enough to again make use uncomfortable.

Lenovo really need to lift on this.
