  • Can't decide between this or the egg shape with basket pull out.
Reviews online seem to be split, but with the Egg (i.e. Philips XXL) winning in some cases.

Anyone made the switch from one to another ?

    • You can get something like this for $130. The Kmart version. That it died under 12 months for me and had to take it back.

Problem with these is warranty, they seem to be made to fail just out of warranty.

Maybe it is a case of buy it cheap buy it twice with these.

Good find! The code has no U though.

  • Checked before posting and can be delivered Melbourne metro area at this price. Not sure why it was changed to C&C only.

  • what's the general size of this beast? like bigger than a microwave? is it too big in anyone's opinion?

Depends how many family members you’ve got to cater and the dish you cook. This is more like for family of 4 or more IMO. If you do whole chick roast or big chuck of meat then it should suit too.

      • thanks, it's only for two tbh, so maybe ill try a 6 ltr. my 3 ltr from kmart has overheated..

        • All good mate.
          Shame on the Kmart one…
The ALDI one for $40 was very attractive.
But my 8 year old Philips first gen airfryer hasn’t died yet!

      • I don't think this is too big for a 2 person household. My hubby and I have one, and absolutely love it.

For roast chickens, only relatively small ones will fit if you're going to use the rotisserie (which is freaking awesome), so need to be careful what you buy.

  • Can't buy from the website in QLD at least. No Add to Cart button. And it says "online only price".

    • Did you try Big W's eBay store?

I bought this from Amazon about 6 months ago when I was looking for an air fryer. The reason I went with this one is the style and the reviews. I've read (although not tested) that the basket-type design does not cook that evenly.
The rotisserie basket in this is amazing for cooking frozen chips. 100 x better than an oven.
I do nuggets and fish fingers in it for the kids in about half the time they take in the oven, with the initial heating up taking like 2 minutes.

I can't speak about how long it will last, but at this stage, I am very happy with it.

This looks very much like the kmart version that sold for $99 and other similar models from kogan. Is there any difference? I returned the kmart model because there is plastic at the front of the oven (between the door and steel interior) and it released fumes when heated (I measured the tvocs with a sensor). This model appears to have a similar strip of plastic. Terrible design.

If you are talking about the Anko 3 in 1 then this one is different.
I've had zero issues with anything with mine, including any smells.

      • Yes the 3 in 1 - doesn't look that different. Same attachments similar boxed design. Imagine the internals are identical. Even the small strip of exposed plastic casing just before the opening/door looks similar.
The plastic is rated to around 220c - above that it will start to bubble. That's not a lot of room for safety.

    • Where did you buy one of those sensors? any you recommend?

I've got the xiaomi cleargrass air monitor from aliexpress. Pretty happy with it.
