14-Day Trial & 50% off Medical Management Software Subscription for the First 6 Months (from $6/Week) @ Power Diary

70

Power Diary is for those of us in health who need to manage our clients/bookings/data/payments. It is an alternative to Halaxy. I’d been using Halaxy for the last 6 months and it has remained a clunky mess throughout that time.

Start your free trial before the end of March 2022 to receive 50% off for 6 month.

Interestingly there’s also a promotion where if you cancel your Power Diary subscription within the first 12 months you get all your payments refunded.

I know this is niche deal, but hopefully it helps someone :)

Hahaha I warned its a niche deal!

  • Can you elaborate on what you find clunky about Halaxy which is improved in Power Diary?

After the initial discount, Power Diary is $576 a year vs Halaxy $0 unless you add SMS reminders or other extras. I found both interfaces have their own issues but given Halaxy is effectively free I can overlook this on their part.

Does anyone else have feedback to share or other options to consider in this space?

    • Hey thanks for the feedback. I’ve found not a lot of discussion around what is easiest and seamless to interstate with Medicare, Telehealth, etc.

Regarding Halaxy I honestly can’t work anything out in Halaxy on my own. To achieve anything it takes at least three calls to support.

Power Diary is more simple and intuitive in my limited use.

As you’ve mentioned, any feedback on other options would be amazing.

Regarding cost, I know it’s not very ozbargain like but I’m happy to spend a tax deductible $500 if it means less stress over the year.

      • I'm glad it works for you. The cost wouldn't be an issue but I find it hard to justify the expense with Power Diary when Halaxy is so similar. I also found the Power Diary interface just as problematic as Halaxy, with garish aesthetics to boot.

It would be great if there were more options in this space for the Australian market!

        • Totally. Imagine one with a ‘wizard’ setup process - instead of having to feel like you’re hacking the mainframe to do the most simple workflow task.

          • @Chinaforever: But if Halaxy can cost someone nothing to keep using, how much would you actually be willing to spend on the website software that would be helpful? It's a bit of a hard market to join if there's a free alternative.

            • @K1LL3R12: Totally true. Hapaxy is so painful I’m in the process of putting a price on that amount.

Best Practice Software's VIP.net way better than both ;)

    Probably more expensive though!

    • Interesting. What’s the cost? What do you like about it? Is it web based?

    • Thanks for the suggestion, I haven't come across this one before. It's actually cheaper than Power Diary.

      • What’re the prices you can see? Does it do Telehealth too?
